I didn't see any of the above that ChicagoBlue2 posted as being unverified information. He just said the the sign reminded him of the this thread and then posted a photo of it. He made NO mention of how hot what they serve is!

this thread is about Ghost Peppers... obviously about how hot pepper is. that restaurant does not serve anything like ghost pepper or remotely close to it. all it's got is the name "Habanero" as if it's selling very spicy food when in fact it doesn't.

hence... my post telling him to check before posting... or put out a disclaimer notice.

I really can't see what the big deal is. No harm has been done.
 
I love those, especially the taste of blood and relentless burning. The scorpion pepper though , that is where it's at.

Well, We were invited to our new friends house from the CI seminar to help bake cookies for the Deaf fundraiser walk tomorow. They are having Pizza and Tea for everyone involved. I asked if they like jalapinos and Ghost peppers. They love Jalapinos but never had Ghost peppers so I am taking some tonight as a gift to them from our garden.
These people are fun like me, so tonight might get interesting....lmao
