Ghost Peppers

To solve the burning. Use a teaspoon of honey. It works wonder.
LOL yeah, I told him milk and sugar... forgot about honey. Will try that next time, Thanks.

Milk and sugar? eww. I would vomit immediately if I drink the milk and eat the sugar. LOL

Celery is also an alternative. Honey is the way to dissolve the flaming hot really fast.

Maybe the vomit helps put the fire out. LOL!

Earlier today I passed a place called Habarneo something, and it reminded of this thread. I should be able to get a picture of it soon.

I got a ton of Habanaros waiting to ripen, and some more ghost peppers to harvest soon

My picture I promised:

This is right across the street from Ogilvie Transportation Center, on Canal and Madison, right at the corner there.

Everyone at my wifes work wants ghost peppers, guess I know where my money maker is for next year

No clue. Just that I saw the name of the place, and thought of this particular thread when I passed it this morning.

always know what you're talking about before you tell it to others. I've told you this many times. it would probably be best to put in disclaimer notice that it's unverified/unconfirmed information since you've never been there.

going price is roughly .80 per pepper wow... Going to buy several more plants for next year

True. I ought to add one. Probably should, anyways.

This thread reminds me of the time years ago when my roommate was eating a pizza with jalapeños on it and our cat snuck up to steal some pizza and bit into one of them. Poor cat was hopping around hissing and in obvious distress. That in itself wasn't at all amusing but what was hilarious was that the cat, after calming down and recovering, started batting the pepper around playing with it and then licked her paws and the hissing and jumping around started again. We washed her paws for her after that but laughed ourselves silly. I'm very against cruelty to animals and would never deliberately give a cat something like that but rofl!

ChicagoBlue - sorry for being an ass. it's just that it's one of my pet peeves that people give out unconfirmed/unverified info unless stated.

but that's just me. no hard feeling.

Noted. I'll make sure to keep that in mind for future reference. And no hard feelings here, either. All is good. :thumb:

I didn't see any of the above that ChicagoBlue2 posted as being unverified information. He just said the the sign reminded him of the this thread and then posted a photo of it. He made NO mention of how hot what they serve is!
