Dolphins beat Jets to win the AFC East automatically, and to send Jets, and Patriots home.
I wonder Brett Favre is retiring?!? :laugh2:

GO DOLPHINS.........
They make my day HAPPY!

Ohhh no wonder why so many of my friends are saying "WAY to go TUNA!!!! Tuna KICKS ASS!!" on FB.

We ended the season to a good win against Buffalo Bills. It was bad weather game with high winds to cause no good fg's for both teams. It was amazing to see NE Patriots work very hard on this game to strive a winning. We had a season with ups and downs and still stay strong as a team. I know we will see more NE Patriots in 2009 grow into more stronger and fresh team with Brady returning and set for some unfinished goals to be accomplished ;)

 to Restless_Heart, Max, Philips, Sosie and other fellow NE Patriot fans see you next year!

Disagreed.
Once Pats team decided not to cheat, ending up they're not in playoffs :D

Damn Right. Tuna turned several teams around in the past. Tuna and Dolphins are the best buddies right now. :D

Yay! Farmers isnt in playoffs, what a bad luck for them: not to cheat, their result: not in playoffs. Perfect closing in the season. beautiful.

Good luck to teams who got in playoffs.

Im so proud of SF 49ers!! They won the final game and Mike Singletary is become head coach for next 4 seasons. WOOT!!! 7-9 is good start to step into BIG for Coach Singletary [as interim for his record: 5-4] Im glad that 49ers decided to sign him and hope that he can turn his team into smashmouth team just like his old team, Chicago Bears. GO NINERS!!

whoo hoo, lets go Eagles!!

GJ to Eagles for butt-kicking Cowboys so badly. That made my night as well.
Cowboys will release some good players, they spent too much $ over players and not entering playoffs. What a huge waste money. Jerry Jones better check his wallet.

Jessica Simpson was there? :hmm:

Think TO will be released?

Probably not, but it is possible that Tony Homo took her to some island for few days like what he did last year.

Tony Homo played so horrible last night, which is good, because I knew for sure that he is not that great quarterback.

Hopefully, because Dallas have Roy Williams, don't you think it would save a lot of money for Dallas to cut T.O., and keep Roy Williams? I want Miami to sign TO, because Chad Pennington/TO/Ted Ginn/Ricky Williams/Ronnie Brown - big offensive threat in 2009. :)

Wow, full of anti-Dallas Cowboys here. How nice....

TO already signed the contract with the Cowboys for 5 years.

:h5: I am proud what their jobs this season and they become fifth teams went 11-5 without playoff in NFL history without Tom Brady. That mean Coach Bill did great job without any cheating this seaon and again Tom Brady. Not disppoint what they didn't make playoff... that is good feeling what they did to silence everyones over cheating and no Brady.

Gotta be fun to see them to be better team next year...Cassel or Brady.

Well earn division title, Miami!

My Wild Card games picks :hmm:

Chargers > Colts
Cardinals > Falcons
Ravens > Dolphins
Eagles > Vikings

I found out Mike Shanahan got fired today :eek3:
Wow, that suprised me, no matter how bad Denver collapsed this season. Not that I like the guy, but I thought he'd always be a mainstay with the Broncos. I did not like many of his coaching philisophies. 4 weeks ago, I'd have been saying Norv Turner was getting fired way before Shanahan. My, how things change in a month.

My picks for this weekend:

Eagles by 3 over Vikings

Chargers by 1 over Colts

Falcons by 10 over Cardinals

UPSET PICK: Miami over a highly superior Baltimore defense.
Baltimore has very fast but very aggresive defense. I feel there is a chance that some of the "WildCat" formations and redirection plays that Tony Sparono has helped to create, may either create a few big plays due to Baltimores aggresiveness and some propensity to overplay a situation, or keep the secondary and Ed Reed on the heals at times.

Speaking of that Buffalo vs New England game; it was definately quite entertaining what a 60 mph wind can do to a football and field goal uprights. Those kicks were looking like a shanked golf shot. I had to laugh a few times :giggle:
