Gas price expect to soar again

Yeah, my meetings are online too so only reason my butt exits the door is to go food shopping or go to church :)

There's a plus side to higher gas prices I found that out his morning in my exercise walk up the Gabriels.

People didnt drive much the freeways last weekend and the roads were like empty.

The air hasnt smell so beautifuly clean this morning and prolly hasnt smelled this clean in like 18 yrs.

Wow? That's great. I am aware that my family and friends did not mention about the gas vapor. We get to use the smell for too long. It would be nice if the newer electric cars and cheap battery replacements are not too expensive. Toxic battery is another problem, but I would say that a nuclear power plant's rods (metal rods) are more dangerous than the battery.

Look example.... robotic motors.... Can you create your own vechile invest and made up... sumth'n look awesome...

Extactly simlair alike scooter-skate board.... cool isn't ??? Why not you create it... then stop talk about Gas stuff..........

That usually happens on after each labor day weekend! I have seen that happen for over 35 years. Whats so different this time is gas increase twicefold, never seen this bad.

I just read paper that China is now number 2 oil thirsty country! I can see how it can strain the supply on arab oil, and that might be the reason why the oil price shot up. Right now, Arab is feeding two major countries on oil supply. They used to feed mostly to United States... not anymore.
So, wait and see what happens. Maybe china decide to sell us cheap gas, who knows?

i saw gas station drop price low yesterday.. yaya!

Exacty my point! There is NO easy solution at this time. It is all talk and no action! I don't believe in these cheap talk on alternative fuels stuff. Heard enough during 70's. Sadly, most of the talk were coming out from con-artist mouth!

Umm, this am the gas station went up 20 cents more to 3.19 from 2.99. It is bad cuz this gas station is always first one to go up or down.

Yeah, 5 cents was dropped since 2 days now.

Don't overjoy yet... too early... ;)

$2.90 per gallon at Shell gas station near my apt and $2.87 at 7-11 gas a block from my apt. It's been "jammed" at that price since and hasn't dropped since, yet.

hearing a rumor that oil went down $40 bucks per barrel from $70 per barrel... looks like a gas price drop huge time on its way :D

See? My prediction is somewhat correct. The oil prices are fairly predictable. I knew it when it comes to end of summer, the price goes down. That is because the demand goes down, so therefore the price goes down as well. Hence the "Law of supply and demand".

The only thing that fails my predict is soaring gas price in the first place. This is the fastest soaring I ever seen in the last 35 years! Never seen anything like this, not even more than 25% increase. This time over 100% increase, that is 4 times worse than I ever seen. Frankly I wasn't expect it to go over $2.50 a gallon! If it weren't for Katrina, my predict may be in the line.

Er...Highly unlikely. Right now the ppb is about $64 or so and it went up in Asian trading. We won't see $40 anytime soon. Too many factors against it...

On another note, here in Raleigh gas prices have come down slightly to an average anywhere from $3.09 to $3.29 or so....

Denver, Colorado still going at 2.99 per gal... filled up my car last night just for half tank at 20 bucks.. yuck!

Exactly right! Asian countries are now addicted to oil, so demand for oil had skyrocket, so is the price PPB skyrocket too. OPEC can't meet all the oil demands. Again, nothing to do with war! China now is number two oil consumer! That was fast!

Yea, I think the Chinese equation was something that very few saw coming. Given the size (population wise) of China, they are well on their way to be number one at some point in the next decade or two. It is not so much the cars (and trucks) but just to power all those industries and such.

We live in interesting times...{Chinese proverb} :thumb:
