100 points is A lot.. I was thinking maybe 2-3 or 5 like Deaf258 says.. I Think It is better than a Trip To Florida or something like that Cause I can see some argument happening :lol: That is what we don't want right?

Actually, 5 points can be easily destroyed with only 2 to 3 bad ratings. If we have 25 members involved and one of them gets the 5 points, 25 could easily bring that winning member down to -50!
 
Or.... My idea suggesting .. If you don't like then follow their comment.. that would be fine..
er um.. ADers who can giving to alldeaf.com as $5.00 dollars when it comes win.. then gathering how many earn alldeaf.com

For example.. (pretend)
Me pay 5bucks
Cheri pay 5 bucks
Deaf258 pay 5 bucks
blah blah..
pretend total 100 bucks.. then ready for win awards... who win then toward to person get 100 bucks.
How's that? Would be fun and challenge to win..
Wha.. do you think ? If not.. then move on their opitions..
 
I have no problem with this type of contest. But to make everyone happy - how about only including those who would have signed up to be nominated only?

Don't include others that haven't signed up or have given their permission. I reckon those who will sign up will have to accept it's all in good fun as a disclaimer.

I would agree to a contest if something like this is set up. I think it would make everything much easier, and if people who get nominated for "bad" categories, they can't really say because they already accepted the risk for it when they signed up for it.

It also would cut the need for "elitism" for older members in the long run as somebody bought up this concern earlier.

Now I am wondering what award I might get... *worried* lmao

Perhaps, when the list is completed - we could find an award for everyone on that list.... so nobody is left out.

I think I am missing something out. I don't remember reading anything how a person would win this, if so many categories were chosen? I agree with Deaf258. If a person gets nominated, they should get one point, and if they win that particular category, then they can get 10 points. Then it should not be limited to one category.

Moderators can warn these ill-feeling members that if they give the person a negative point just for winning, then they would get banned for 12 hours or 24 hours.
