I miss the days when I could colour my hair using the temporary hair dye mascara.

Oh it was the "IN" thing!

That did not come out until the '94 or '95 in Australia!

Gee, I feel young. I'll have to ask my sisters if they remember what you guys remembered.

Not a problem,

here it goes, You are customer, you want to buy something, which one would you go for Very high price on a product or cheapest price product?

Majority of us would go for cheapest, same way, company owner wants to pay cheapest labor, China happen to offer 50 cents an hour while Americans demand 50 dollars an hour, what do you think company owner would do? Go for cheapest labor so can sell their product at lower price. That is how it works. Unions don't see that way.

I respectfully disagree. I blame it on the managements' greed, pure and simple.

I understand your point, diehardbiker, and I think you will agree that the blame goes both ways. At the time unions were first created, they were necessary, but since then they have been corrupted by those at the top. To me, it is a moral question: what if each and every company in the USA has their products manufactured overseas with cheap labor? What happens to the average person in the USA? It may be legal, but to me it is immoral. It seems to me that bargaining at the table is a dying art. Surely in this day and age both sides ought to be able to reach some sort of compromise for the good of their country. Yeah, I may be hopelessly naive but there you have it.

During the most formative period of my life- soccer and baseball ruled everything. Every Saturday AM I would get my soccer uniform on by 7 AM and watch cartoons until time to go to the game. During the week- it was get the baseball uniform on the very SECOND I get home from school.

I simply loved MJ's music and dance skills. We got that first PC which my little brother and I constantly fought over game time on it. And lastly out Nintendo game boys got the most value for the buck for me and my brother compared to any game we ever owned.

bobo's (they make your feet feel fine :) ), boom-box, slinky, when Wizard of Oz was only on one night a year, Sanford and Son, Sat. morning cartoons (not today's crap)

This was going to be mine......I miss Tom and Jerry,Scooby,Bugs Bunny Roadrunner Hour,Woody Woodpecker, Hong Kong Phooey and Grape Ape. Oh and the wacky racers.

Saturday Night Live was better in the 80s too. And there was a show called Midnight Special on after SNL that had alot of bands.

Anybody remember the Band Asia??? Only one album but pretty good. Huey Lewis and Kenny Loggins were good too.

Oh and Cheer's the sitcom that raised the bar (no pun intended) on sitcoms.

When I was kid, I always wanted a poster of Farah Fawcett!

As adult, I like Jaclyn Smith more than Farah Fawcett.

THAT 70's show

yea, Charlies Angeles

The old TTY. With the rotary phone

I miss Teletype model 28 with PhoneTTY inc. coupler.
I miss Telecaption decoder since 1980.

:)

I still wear 1984 Grateful Dead long sleeves shirt. The condition of its clothing is still very good! The decorated sticker on the shirt seems hard to fade out after 25 years!

I used to wear long skirt with the Poodle on it. I love it and also wear my hear pony tail. Also some of my deaf classmates would watch with me on "Peyton's Place" a soap opera drama. I can not remember what day like in the afternoon or late close to the evening time. Also for the life of me, why my deaf classmates would want to watch that when we don't have any close captioned. It was back in the middle sixities. Geesh. I love the rotating phone and good with my tty, even if we have the old teletype. :)

When I was really little in the 1960's I had cat eye glasses.

I miss punk rock before it became cool to the headbangers and alternative music became mainstream.

I miss vinyl records, 45's and my stereo which played them all abit slow, so when I finally swtiched to CD's, everything was abit faster and sucked cause it sounded all disco-y.

I miss not giving a shit about anything except the next gig.

I miss living like a gypsy and not knowing what band house or underground club I was gonna crash at next.

I miss all the irresponsible mischievous trouble we used to get into, LOL. Yep, those were the days....
