Sorenson VRS®
see bottom, there is TTY number to call for support. That's one of reason, how some people need to try reach them.
That is if they still own a TTY lol
Many deaf folks threw their TTYs away years ago ...
I am guilty! Yes, I threw away 8 TTY machines few years ago. Of course some people think Im nuts, but they forgot, why should I keep pay telephone bill plus cable Internet service and not using Telephone line for years? I have already saved over $1,200 dollars since cut off Telephone line.
Main reason? It takes me 10 times longer on TTY than on Videophone for the very same amount of information being transmitted.
I have used Sorenson E911 service twice and they are DARN fast! Unbelieveable. One of them as soon as I am done with E-911 call, the cops was right in front of my front door! I was like WHOA!!! Already???? All less than 3 minutes from the time I dial 911. So, I don't see point of having landline telephone service anymore.
Unless the power goes out, and you lose internet access, then you are screwed.
Better to keep spare TTY. Don't need landline service, but you do need a working phone jack to plug your phone or TTY in. Even if you do not have landline service, you can still call 911 from TTY or phone.
All set here and not replace router.... I do still problem with it when I call someone and there is the black picture. so I have to hang up and redial then open video! So I don't bother to contact VRS until it is broken!
Peace!

We went over that topic here before. It is not true everywhere that you can still call 911 over an unused phone jack. If that has changed since the last discussion then please provide a link that says it works in all 50v states. Thanks.
If power went out and I need to call 911 I will use my ip relay on my PDA cell phone
Still same e911 service as VP.
Even some PDA cell phone have built in tty too.
.
When power out then you are freak out and call 911 for help about no power? That's stupid!
I remember my aunt in law's business got power out due bad weather but they use their generator for backup power and their landline service still dead. Yes, bad weather can destroy the landline, not just the power. Everyone uses their mobile without problem. The carrier network is work better than landline.
Yeah, but will the cell towers still work during severe storms?

I wonder that Sorenson installer had fixed your router and VP200 before. Right?
You better unplug VP200 and wait in few moments. then plug it. You check it again
