File a suit against Sorenson VRS .. Help?

I am not happy with Sorenson.. I cannot be a use phone VP for since one week..... They said wait until 2 weeks later for man come my house and fixing it? What!? Waiting for two weeks. No way.. What if something is happening in my home and need contact 911. I need to contact my doctor for my daughter is sick? So I feed up with Sorenson so Which I could contact the lawyer to file a suit against Sorenson? ADA? :confused:

Because If someone's version or Comcast has a problem. They will be coming to fix it as soon possible but not two weeks! :(

What is the reason to file a lawsuit against Sorenson? What would you get out of them? Money? I am trying to understand this. You didn't have to pay to use Sorenson services.

What I would suggest for you to call them back and see if they could find someone to do it sooner than two weeks?
 
I had the same problem!...Lousy service too, sorry to say it, but it's true. And even after waiting for 1 month, my VP still isn't working right. Well, that's all I gotta say.

Yes I am driven long to my friend's house and use their vp. I talked with Sorenson representatives. He said who is an installer I told him I know him but All his information in my Vp contact list, but I cannot open Vp to calling the installer.. Rep. said Oh well then waiting for 2 weeks!? :ugh:

I am not looking after money.. I want a court order to Sorenson that must come fixing as soon possible and not two weeks because what if I have a heart attack and How contact to 911??? :squint:

I did 4 times called them back from driven to my friend's vp Now I am fed up! :mad:

Phillips, I understand now.

I would be upset if I was in that situation. Sorenson should be able to look up who the installer that did it for you. Are you able to contact your local friends to get your installer's contact info? As for suing Sorenson to send someone over right away, I am afraid there is not much you could do about it but wait for them to come over. :(
 
Phillips, FCC requires 911 services on all VRS, and text relay providers on or after November 12. If Sorenson may do nothing to set up 911 feature for customers, they will pay fine by FCC.



You better contact Sorenson support to require it now.

I am sorry about that but I have see worse than your but not let that happen to you.

I can understand your fed up with driving back and forward each time to get answer. The save trip is using AIM; SIP Relay and then type HELP. It will re-directly to your call to response team to assist your issue and have that address matter.

IP Relay is my second communicate if the videophone gone down. Sorenson have SIP Relay that you can use their service even 911 too.

I understand what do you mean 'waiting' what if.... I totally agree with you. I faithful to my videophone which its VP200 that release and no problem since... (knock wood)

Can you tell me what the problem with VP200? Maybe I can help you fix the problem? If not, I will understand if you don't want to tell me about the problem.

Ok, first of all, I am sorry to hear what you went through with Sorenson.

Here are several possibilities:

Have you updated your email address, etc? Maybe an installer has tried to contact you via email?

Maybe installer is very busy with too many assignment tickets? If so, he should have informed his manager to transfer ticket to other trainer who has time to come to your house to fix your VP.

Or maybe there are not enough installers in your state? :hmm:

Have you emailed your complaint to Sorenson installer's manager about 2 weeks delay?

If your VP is down for any reasons, you can use Siprelay. Add Siprelay into your AIM. Make sure you register on mySorenson.com. If you have a blackberry, use siprelay.com to download www.siprelay.com into your blackberry pager. It is your temporary solution until your VP issue is resolved and fixed.

Ah. I think that point at the RCA or other kind of modem is not good. I have faced several consumers who have lousy RCA modem from Comcast. Some are good, some are defective. I suggested them to tell Comcast to replace it with motorola modem, then it worked like a charm.

Don't blame on Sorenson. I hate seeing RCA modems go haywire!!

You are right. I know that RCA modem dont support Sorenson VP. Lots of problem with RCA modems. I former worked for Sorenson to tell some customers to transfer Motorola modem.

Also, Scientific Atlanta and Webstar modems are not that great either.

They are not worse. worked fine with Sorenson VP. but some signals were weak. I had replaced Motorola modem for some Sorenson customers to make stronger signal.
