Federal Judge prevents compounding pharmacy from providing execution drug to MO

Well, time to dust off Ol' Sparky.

Well, time to dust off Ol' Sparky.

Wait a minute. Doesn't Florida have that particular electric chair, or is that a common name for them? And as far as I know, the only active state still using it is Virginia.

Clapping, clapping! No, I am not a cat! I applaud that judge that prevents another murder by the people!

Ol' Sparky was a common name for the chair. It can still be used in Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia, and in Arkansas and Oklahoma if lethal injection becomes unconstitutional.

Thats good to hear that the electric chair can be used if not the lethal injection.

Majority of pharmacist and drug makers do not like the idea of being part of execution procedure. Its not just Pharmacy themselves that refused provide lethal chemicals. Back then when Pennsylvania started the o'le sparky (Already phased out), power company refused to provide power to specific prison that got sparky chair, forcing department of correction buy their own generator in order to carry execution.

More and more providers dropping providing something that has to do with execution, and I am glad there are bunch of sane people out there.

wont they just go to another pharnacy

Well i still hope they have a gnerator so they can proceed with the execution or thy find what they need for the lethal injection. But got to admit it might be expensive.

Ask yourself this question... Are you willing to be part of the execution procedure? FYI, the pay is awesome!

Im actually willing to be part of procedure. Well got to admit it wont be a pretty sight, even less if its the electric chair. But i know you against death penalty, sorry if my answer bothers you.

I have done research, majority of people who work in execution procedure have issues with their sanity, and it is very tough to get in these position. I read one story of a electrician who do the execution on sparky, he was fine for few executions, after several execution, he isn't himself anymore.

I USED to be pro death penalty but I changed after doing intensive research and realize that the idea of execution is far unethical, no matter how justified it is.

I guess i did my research and arrived to the opposite conclusion. Plus i have personal bias. But there is a lot of people that do go against death penalty after doing their reseach, seen that before, but everyone can choose wether to go for it or againt. And thats kinda all i have to say to topic. x_x

Do believe I'm capable of pulling the lever....but as for the lethal injections....don't think so...needles are not my thing.
