If Rush Limbaugh is "all Americana" this country is in deep doo-doo! Talk about delusions of grandeur! The guy is diagnosable and certifiable.

Couple of co-morbid personality disorders, substance abuse disorder, and no doubt some long standing depressive disorder. I could be more specific with testing, but he makes it pretty obvious through his actions.

My guess was that he likely had a personality disorder but I wasn't expecting you to say co-morbid personality disorders.. but then I'm not a professional pychologist like you.


My guess was either Narcissistic Personality Disorder or Histrionic personality disorder but then I could be way off.

That is a valid guess. I am impressed. Definately the Narcissistic, but I would include Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder as comorbid on a hunch (as opposed to Obssessive Compulsive Disorder). Could very well be a dx of Histrionic, though. I'd say he would definiately score into the high ranges for histrionic traits on an assessment.

I think I know someone with obessive complusive personality disorder. I know the difference. I don't recomend that anyone with ADD related organizal difficulites live with a person with this disorder. It will be hell for both the OCPD and the ADD person. :P

He reminds me of the chubby rich kid down the street. Last guy picked in PE class. Everyone picks on him. Then, one day, he becomes somebody because of his money, and picks on almost everybody to compensate for his childhood.

You can imagine the horror when my stepdad stopped being out of town (he used to only be home two days of the month from 1992 to 2005), then he decided to not do so many business travels and stay in town more often. Urrrrrrrgh.

Took me awhile to get twisted metal out of my system (which finally resolved itself a few months back), even though I moved out in 2006. I swear if I haven't moved out, mom would had come home to a grotesque murder scene-- just not sure who would be the guilty one.

Lol. I'm glad you're out. It's very hard to live with a person like this.

I have not forgotten the time the person that I have in mind wanted me to use up my CI batteries that weren't dead when my CI batteries went dead so I could wring as much use as possible out of my CI batteries before they went completely dead. I was like oh god, do I have to buy a battery tester to test my batteries every time they go dead? It's unreasonable.

The same person asked me if I knew where to get my CI batteries over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over till I felt like screaming at him that I KNEW WHERE TO GET THE DAMN BATTERIES.

Oi... that remind me of the situation I got out of with an Australian chick. She used to ask me if I ate, what I ate, how many calories I had, and if I had went out... where I went, if I did my errands. I used to hold her in contempt, then I exploded after a month and chewed her out for her obsession.

And if I decide to throw anything out, she would ask if I completed the tasks I intended to do with it... and such.

Oh me.. lol.. I feel for ya. I've gone thru the same thing with a certain someone regarding my diabetes.
