REPOST if you think that Bush is a sorry excuse for a president and human being.

A lil mo' amo for them heated discussions wit Bush Supporters!!

:( It has to make one wonder who is actually running this country. While our soldiers are in Iraq fighting this war to keep us safe and free, there is President Bush sporting this tan while speaking on national TV. Our soldiers are getting killed while he is refreshing his tan.

Those people in New Orleans, who has lost everything, and now they have lost faith in the Government, President Bush and FEMA. I was watching Oprah for the last 2 days, and the people have lost so much faith in President Bush for not responding sooner to rescue these people, instead another branch of the Government is responding, our National Guard.

Even celebrities are going there to New Orleans to help out, comfort these people, even just these celebrities talking to these survivors has given them some hope. Lisa Marie Presley spent over 1500. on baby needs, toiletries, undergarments just so these people will have something new to wear or put on.

Where is President Bush in all this?

I guess it's true "the rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer, and everything is thrown at the middle class".

This country needs a full time President to help the U.S. Citizens, not to hurt them financially or emotionally.

The Daily Show had an interesting persepctive on Bush's concern for Katrine victims. They showed a clip of Bush saying he was devastated that Trent Lott's house was destroyed and he had come to pay his respects. Then they showed a clip of Sean Penn in a boat in New Orleans, trying to find survivors.

like i said before, we didn't really have a good choice on who to vote for. they are both horrible choices to be president.

Here is the full version of that.

With a policy of 'dis-engagement' created the most hostile Israeli-Palestine relations in at least 30 years.

Fist US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability.

First US president in history to have the people of South Korea more threatened by the US than their immediate neighbor, North Korea.

Changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.

Set all-time record for number of administration appointees who violated US law by not selling huge investments in corporations bidding for government contracts.

Failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive'.

Failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capitol building. After 18 months I have no leads and zero suspects.

In the 18 months following the 911 attacks I have successfully prevented any public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the United States.

Please don't tell me you take this stuff at face value?!?!

The same sort of list can be made for ANY politician, on either side of the debate.

Abraham Lincoln:
- Oversaw the largest mass execution in US history. The executed were American Indian 'dissidents'.
- Freed the slaves in the south via the 'Emancipation Proclaimation', but didn't free the slaves who worked in the White House

FDR:
- Lied to the American people about his own health.
- Had foreknowledge of the attack on Pearl Harbour, yet allowed the 'surprise' attack to continue.
- Effectively gutted the U.S. Constitution by federalizing many rights and abilities guaranteed to the states.

JFK:
- The Kennedy family fortune was made from illegal liquor import and sales during prohibition.
- Was elected through under-the-table Mafia deals in New York and Chicago
- Supported the overthrow of a sovereign government (Cuba) by supporting assasination attempts of Fidel Castro.
- Abandoned his support of Cuban dissidents and the 'US Advisors', causing the slaughter of thousands (The Bay of Pigs).
- Participated in the illegal abduction and deportation of Carlos Marcello. Marcello is was a New Orleans Mafia Don. Criminal or not, he's a US citizen and has constitutional rights.
- Sent countless American troops into battle against using poorly designed weapons that malfunctioned in humid climates. Many died as a result of this action.
- Ordered the alteration of standard rules of engagement to the experimental 'limited warfare/police action' rules. Many more died from these policies.
- Approved of the usage of chemical and biological weapons in the Viet Nam theater of war.
- Lied to the American people about his own health, the Viet Nam War, and Cuba.
- Oversaw EXTREME proliferation of nuclear weapons.

Jimmy Carter:
- Illegalized the most efficient, safest methods for recycling nuclear waste.
- Presided over the worst economic down-turn since the great depression.
- His failed foreign policy caused the greatest energy/fuel crisis.
- Only former president in history to openly criticize the policies of a sitting president while on foreign soil.

Bill Clinton:
- Shut down the federal government TWICE because he was unwilling to compromise with Congress on the federal budget. This budget required and had bi-partisan support for passage.
- Committed felonies (lying under oath) WHILE holding office.
- Refused to accept Usama bin Laden into custody when he was offered up by Sudan.
- Weakened the American Armed Forces in both financial support and morale worse than any president in history.
- Took more 'friends and family' on government sponsored trips abroad than any president before or since
- Stole white house artifacts upon leaving office (china, etc.) and was forced to return them.
- Only president in history whose staff trashed the white house offices when they left.

WAKE UP FOLKS!!!

If you have honest disagreement with a president's policies, that's America. This attempt to brand politicians you disagree with as evil villains is childish and goes against the core values that our country was founded on.

Any public figure can be praised or smeared. It's all in who's writing the list.

BTW...I live in Texas. We are NOT the most polluted state in the union. Our lakes and lands are beautiful. If you don't believe me, come visit.

We also LIKE executing those who commit the most hienous of crimes. We like to own and carry guns. We like our freedom. We elect governors who agree with us on these stances.

Ann Richards learned this the hard way. She opposed the will of the people and didn't see a second term.

Rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant.

Sorry. The UN rendered itself irrelevant long ago. Just look at the UN's track record on.....anything.

Withdrew from the World Court of Law.

Personally, I like this one. The US Constitution guarantees me the right to a trial by a jury of MY PEERS. To allow US Citizens to be tried by a non-US court for acts committed on US soil degrades our civil rights as US citizens. Like him or not, everyone should thank W for this one.

Refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions.

We're not at war with anyone. Ever notice that the US is the only country on the globe that ever abided by the Geneva Convention in the first place? Think the Germans/French/Russians/whoever have EVER followed the GC?

First president in US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 US elections).

Once again, this is a good thing. Name ANY country in the world that does a better job of elections than the US. You can't. We have more elections in a given year than most of the rest of the world have had in history.

Be careful about wanting the UN in US business. Once they're in, you won't get them out short of serious bloodshed.

Read your history folks.

$1,500? Is that all? Is that a typo? She is a multi-millionaire. She spends more than $1,500 at the salon. I know simple middle-class people donate more than that. Must be a typo.
