Do you realized he regreted in saying that?
No, I didnt. I am on my pager so the links dont download very quickly. Did he announce that?

The father was generalization all deaf people by saying 'fuck you' over and over again because some deaf person called him a called him a monster !
The dad not helping his child acting this way! I think he sending his kid a mix message , by being angry at all deaf people!

Yes, he did. Like Faire_jour and I have been saying. He was having a bad day and needed to vent.
I'm sure there are deaf people like that... and I would feel the same way.
Now, it's ok for deaf and hearing people to vent, but not like that where it could do alot of damage.
kokonut, if he regret it, WHY in the WORLD did you post an old post?
The damage comes from the constant attacking over time, and not regret it. This here wasn't the case. It was a one day vent where the person acknowledged and regretted his venting a few days later.
Which old post are you talking about?
Ok, but it was made public...not a smart move on his part. The damage has been done.
first of all, I think this was 2008
Second why bring up something he regret. I'm sure he does not want anyone to bring it up.
third, like I told you, it's no excuse for him attack the whole community just because some of them attack him.
I guess you didn't read the part where he regretted doing that??

The thread is there. I think it was worth discussing such a thread. He already regretted what he wrote. He could've requested that the thread be deleted but it's still up there.
Also, the damages also have been done by some in the Deaf community and continues in that fashion that certainly gives the community as a whole the wrong picture. He vented. He has the right to vent. Everybody has their day under the sun to vent to such an extreme. The point is, he regretted it. What about the few of those in the Deaf community? The extremists? I don't even think this hearing father is an extremist by any stretch of the imagination. Certainly there are extremists on both ends of the worlds.
worth discussing? why rehash same old shit? since you seem to have a lot of time on your hands, why don't you start reading old threads?
That is a very good question! What what the point of posting this?
It wasn't about that one post per se but the thread and the discussions that occurred amongst other posters that was fascinating to read.
