I know what you mean.

I've noticed that thicker frames are popular among artists.

I guess that's another question we should be asking... are you an artist? What are your hobbies? How do you want people to see you?

Wearing thick frames while working on art would look good... but while working on computers would make you look like a geek. So, that's something to think about. ;)
 
I think the first one in the second post with pictures of glasses look good, up to ya :)
