Eye Frames...Pick One.

I've been seeing these everywhere. I'm not sure why these are the rage. In fact, I think they are quite ugly. No offense to anyone here.

I've never been a fan of thick frames. I wear a pair of eyeglasses that are rimless. It's also super-light. Gotta love these. It's much easier on the bridge of my nose.
I have that same preference.

The thinner the rim, the more revealing the face.

I've seen some cute women who wear thick glasses that it hides their attractive face and I wish they didn't do that. :(

I wouldn't mind wearing glasses without correction lenses just to see how it looks. It would be interesting to walk around in public with glasses and see how people respond to me. ;)

I don't like any of the frame designs, because they look like frames for sunglasses not everyday prescription glasses. Yeah, they'd make nice sunglasses though..:)

I don't know how fashion conscious you are, but I don't think those frames are a "timeless" design. I can't see thick frames staying in fashion for long enough. But, everybody has different opinion anyway.

Anyway, you should test the frames, because you have to be the judge on what you think suits you best. Frames are designed to suit different complexions, hairstyles, lifestyle, etc.

Yes, I like "invisible" glasses. Hubby and I have small rimless glasses with no-glare coating so there is not even a reflection on the lenses. Very lightweight too, so they don't leave an indentation on the bridge. Hubby has sinus problems, so he really appreciates the light weight on his nose.

Good point.

I think maybe B, but be very sure you like the spectacle so much that you'll wear it for at least couple of years.

I like what omegaman said. Those comments might change my mind in regards to frame choice.

I am going to go with what omegaman said: here are some rimless glasses I think are cool. Which one do you favor?

Choose the frame style and forget about how they will look on my face. :)

#1 and #4 actually look good. They both have very thin rims on the top. If you could get #1 in black, that would be great.

Yeah, a dark-haired person doesn't look so good in light-colored frames.

I myself like #4 best...but that doen't mean I have made a final choice.

How about if it has a polarized sunglasses? I mean when you enter a building, your glasses will change from dark to clear. I have seen on an advertisement on TV. Sorry, I never wear a reading glasses.

Well, that depends on how often you will use them.

I have a friend who is a student at RIT. He got those glasses because they would benefit him very well. He's always walking around inside and outside all day. He leaves his apartment, walks outside to school, enters a building for class. One hour later, he leaves the building, walks outside towards another building, enters that building for class. This goes on all day long. So, it was perfect for him.

I have another friend who thought those glasses were cool. So, he bought them. Yet, he works full-time and is always inside. He doesn't go outside much. He's usually outside for no more than 1 minute cuz he's walking from his office building to his car. He then goes home. When he goes back out, it's already dark outside. He doesn't go out to the mall or anywhere else much on the weekends. So, he never had much use for those glasses. A waste of money.

That's something you should consider first before deciding on getting them.

I guess I am very fashion-orienated, I like the thick frames better. I think they make a person look very artsy and creative.

I plan on getting those thick frames the next time I get new glasses. I have thin frames and they look boring!

Just my view.

Aqua blue..I like the thicker frames. :)

Umm First one that I like than this second :hmm: let us know which you will buy :)

Good luck! :D
