If that amount isn't enough to keep them out of debt then what's to stop the state from increasing the percentage and lowering the cutoff limit in order to get even more tax revenue?
You consider increasing taxes to be progress?
I consider fair application of taxes to be progress, yes.
So tell me, how is the state to get out of debt otherwise? And will all of those that don't think that the wealthiest should be taxed, how exactly do you stand by that? Do you refuse to use the infrastructure of your state? You expect the state to provide, yet you prevent the state from taxing the 2% of the population that can actually afford the tax without having to do without basic necessities.
