No, through free trade.
oh hmm well I don't understand. can you clarify in details if you can?
No, through free trade.
several reasons -
1. long-term political and/or economic strategy
2. it had immediate indirect/direct security threat to USA's economic interest
3. to stop the crime against humanity
4. to build US military base in there as part of agreement
5. bunch more.....
Can you care how to elaborate on this one? How is it exactly that if the US is not on a position to help other country - How would it affect the US's economic interest?
I'd have thought otherwise because if US was to help another country, that may bestow into exchange of any sort from that country. I'm not saying any countries are at liberty to do so but if US is not helping that country, then how is it possible for US's economic interest to be threatened?
for example - Kuwait. We came flying in immediately with brigades and expensive toys to defend USA's economic interest (oil) and also to increase American foothold in Middle East. same for sea area near to South Africa that's infamous for sea piracy. We just dispatched several navy ships for it to protect ships bounded for America.
now look at Rwanda. nothing.
America has think tank team who are the brightest minds in the world. they can compute and foresee the possible outcomes. The country, while it may looks like it serves no purpose for USA, can pose a danger for USA in the future. With time and money, it can be a breeding ground for terrorists. That's why we intervened in certain African country instead of others.

we'll never know. after all - they have access to sensitive information and the best they can do is compute based on probability. and yes they do make mistake sometimes. Just look at Think Tank team who made horrendous error in picking ArmaLite AR-15 as main infantry weapon... which was later changed to M16-A1.You're right - Even though with these think tank team; They just exactly can't really foresee what will happen in the future but however, it is their job to try to get the best of these information to see how it would be played out. That is why they have to always think 5 or 10 steps ahead before it is fallacious.
who knows.... who knows... it's just matter of time till the country intervenes out of sympathy and kindness. UN's really grasping at straws out there....As for Rwanda; Yes it's unfortunate that things are happening over there. Even if they were not in a position to help, Perhaps in the future they will be able to? Who knows?
Well, I still don't get it after I read. Care to speak in English for me ?
see my post #31. does it help?
Okay, it is in the article from where I was readin' in a week ago. I am goin' to copy and paste the article here to show you. I will highlight with bold fonts about US and China. Not just the bold fonts, you can read the whole article as well.
thanks for link. I don't know about you but.... when I looked at the NewsWithViews site - it looks...... fake. I mean... what kind of news site is loaded with advertisements like depression & back pain medication... credit card debt... etc.
Well, not to me - because, of National Headlines news are in there. Never mind about loaded with advertisements.
I'd recommend you to read Politico. It's a well-reputable political blog site written by independents.
yes but they twisted it to their way to scare people. it's almost as if they were Rush Limbaugh's pupils unfortunately - this tactic is incredibly effective and simple. the best way to win is to confuse the people by speaking it in their simple language... which leads to even more confusion.Well, not to me - because, of National Headlines news are in there. let me know how you like it so farThanks for the link. I will look up into it.
