I talked with a man on Vp phone that he invites me going to Maine in June. We will ride the canoes on longest river but for three nights that we will be pulling over the land from river and stay night then back on river Oh gosh, I cannot wait.

I need buying my own canoe, which you recommend the kind of boat. I want cooler box fit and also some bags. I remember that someone put his things on canoe but flipping out and all of his things were wet! However, I do not want to happen to me! :giggle:

It is possible Phillips knows the man she spoke to on VP? :dunno:

Phillips, if you do buy canoe, be sure to buy oars! It is possible the area you are planning to go have places where you could rent canoes.

I will post pictures here after trip ;) Guess I need a waterproof camara too?.. In case, I may drop it in the water or Pour Rain?? :eek: :lol:
 
What is different between Kayaks and Canoe? :confused: ;)
 
^^ I really don't know much about canoes, but hopefully someone here can recommend you a good one! You should get a water resistant disposable camera, just in case! It's cheaper than buying a waterproof digital camera which cost around $200-300.

Canoe and kayak....

Canoe=has seats with no enclosed space, good for calm waters

Kayak=great for rapid waters or rough waters and has enclosed space

He just inform me that Planning in July but not know when.... depend on weather.. They prefer going with good sunny weather :)

Very few kayak does have some storage that you can put in but depend on the size of foods you bring.. so go to llbean and check out stuffs they can give you idea on what you need.. :)
