Or and unsuspecting hiker! Oh my!

That could be considered..........MuuuuuuurrrDerrrrr

*shuddering* My cousin was bit by one when she leaned on the bed of the back of the truck. She propped her arms up an one crawled up the hole (the ones that is used to install a campertop) Bit her on her upper arm. She ended up in the ER in a lot of pain. Other than that she was fine. Just sore and swollen.

I believe those posts are sarcastic.

That happened when I was 5 years old with my father and the black widow spider is native to woods/forest, so you will find anywhere in woods.

I have one member (not you) on my ignore list and I don't see any posts until someone quote it.

I think it's crazy to own a poisonous species. nobody should own an exotic pet either.

it's even much more dangerous than having a bunch of loaded guns in my house. :Ohno:

Yup, think about give a tiger for your birthday.

Pythons or any type of constricters are just as bad. They are know to give little ones a really tight hug.

Yup, my friend from Miami said it is illegal to introduce the pythons to wild.

Oh hell no!! I am not really scared of spiders, but those things creep me out.

They are but their venomous isn't strong as other spiders - like black widow spider and brown recluse spider, so tarantula should handle with special care.

You are lucky that you live in Maryland and you don't have deal with brown recluse spider.

I think they are, but rarely bite people.

[FONT=&quot]People that own dangerous animals think they're special and have a unique bond. This often proves to be their undoing as they have make poor decisions regarding how to confine the animal safely and they let their guard down believing that they've tamed the animal. Sometimes, other people get killed because of their carelessness. It should be illegal but there's always loop holes in the law and it's hard to enforce. You really only need to watch an episode of "Fatal Attraction" on Animal Planet to see how quickly things can go from bad to worse....I'd never get involved with someone that's attracted to domesticating wild, and potentially dangerous, animals. They're not objective about the dangers it presents to both animals and humans and they put everyone in harm's way.

Spider bites can be really painful. No doubt.

It's illegal to have exotic snakes with out a microchip in them and registured. Yes, it is illegal to release any exotic pet.

Poisonous humans should be microchipped and never released in public
