I have. Several times from elementary through high school as I particpated in plays, mostly in small bits. My last one in high school was a play called "Plaza Suite" by Neil Simon. I played in the third act "Visitor from Forest Hills" as Roy Hubley. It was fun. I don't mind being on a stage.

Yup at several time, Little Red Hood at preschool, President Day's and Three Little Pigs at elementary school, Romeo and Juliet at middle school and The Shakespeare at high school when I was in senior in 2005.

It was great but hard to memorize about what dialogue said.

No because I dont like to have so many eyes on me. I freeze up whenever I do public speaking.

However, my deaf brother is the opposite and he has been in several plays for school, college, and professionally.

once in fourth/ fifth/sixth grade (have to be one of those grade because I was transfer to that school). I was Ms. Fixit who was suppose to fix Santa Clause's clock. The role was really suppose to be male, but I told them I wanted it because I only had to say one line :) and it was at the very end.

Yeah, got several drama awards and even got scholarship from BfA. Even I went to drama festival for few years with others and we all made into finals out of 200 high schools. What a great memory.

I took grade 9 and 10 drama. It was pretty much the most fun I had ever had in a class. Improv was so much fun! I was never very good at improvised dialogue with another person, but when solo improv acts were required, I flourished!

Been in a play once. Most of the time I am Master of Ceremony, and guest speaker. I have zero stage fear. :)

Love theatre! I did it for 10 years. So much fun. I think theatre is why making facial expressions come so easy for me in ASL

Did a commercial once for a local restaurant in Sedona. Also did a play in Oqunquit, Maine.

Never did want to be an actress though. My boss made me do the commercial, and the play was a funny accident. It was "interactive" dinner theatre and that was a trip in itself!

Interactive dinner theatre is so much fun! I love going to those! I've never played in one, but just being a guest was fun!

I think I know your brother. . . . and I think I met you once.

From what I can remember, your brother was a very nice and decent person ... maybe a bit on the wild side .... but a very decent person.

I was the woodsman and a postman in Snow White aged 11- I did well in rehearsals but forgot my lines halfway through, started crying then repeated my earlier lines. People teased me about it. Years later I was in An Inspector Calls for english class, I was terrified and ended up printing my lines out and reading them from the inside of a newspaper prop- everyone could tell. I think I could be good at showing emotions etc but I speak fairly quietly and am terrified of forgetting my lines.

Always hated Shakespeare. Then one day came across a college instructor who said, "That is because you read the plays. A stupid thing to have someone like you do. Come to my class and experience Shakespeare as you have never done before."

His method of teaching Shakespeare was to have his class grab the scripts and play the parts. It was some of the most fun I have ever had.

He was right. The only way to truly enjoy Shakespeare is to "Do the play".

I concur.

Yes, in high school and through my first year of college.

During two miserable years in Girl Scouts, the leader thought that little plays would be a unifying activity.

So yes, but not actually willingly.

And he is very good at it. I love his videos!

Started in high school, and continued throughout college. Did several roles in college, and as a grad student. Also as a grad student, I advised on a production with the director that featured signed reading. It was the first one that had ever been done at the school, and we received great reception. They are now considering doing a complete signed production.

I've been in quite a few plays and such both for school while growing up and the local Little Theater while growing up. My father used to write plays and the Little Theater would do them. Always got great reviews.
