Ever done any acting??

I played Rheba Spelding in Visit to a Small Planet when I was in the Navy (it was either 1971 or 72) at Great Lakes, IL. It was a pretty lame performance, all round.

Ever consider changing the spelling of your name to "Rheba"? Just thought it was unusual that you got to play a character with the same name, just different spelling. I don't imagine that happens very often.

My real name isn't Reba, and I didn't pick my screen name until I joined AD. I hadn't even thought about "Rheba" since the play, until today's post.

I picked "Reba" as a screen name based on Reba McEntire, especially after her role in Tremors. :giggle:

In high school I was a member of the stage crew and makeup crew. I preferred to work behind the scenes.

Tremors, what a blast from the past. That was one of the few flicks you didn't really need to be hearing to understand what was going on.

I too had been under the impression your name was Reba as well, lol. Maybe TCS made it look that way, I'm not sure.

Tremors is a family favorite, ha, ha.

I can't use anything close to my real name because as a terp I try to maintain some anonymity.

TCS has gotten used to calling me "Reba" at AD, just like I call him "TCS" here. Obviously that's not his name either. :giggle:

lol!!! That couple in movie was my favorite. I also liked that geologist especially when she had to lose the pants when she got tangled up with barbed wires :naughty:

I was jealous of Reba's arsenal.

Are you ever going to let us know who you are one day? I've always wanted to know what got you interested in interpreting.

Asian pride for me, cuz Victor Wong was in that movie. :thumb:
RIP to him.

Ahhh...got it! Can't go wrong naming yourself after Reba McEntire!

Maybe after I retire. :)

I have wanted to mention since joining that your icon photo looks so much like my cousin's navy photo... but she isn't a terp, I don't think.... she is a teacher in CT. And it would be years before she retires!

I'm from Connecticut originally. Maybe she's a distant relative. ;)

Haha, I was in a few plays in elementary school. We did Little Riding Red Hood, & 3 Little Bears with deaf kids/interpreters in them. It was cool. I was really shy in all those plays, LOL. I was a wolf for Little Red Riding Hood & Goldilocks for 3 Little Bears. I was a really skinny little girl. I have a video of it, haha.

I've always wanted to be an actress growing up & I still do. :)
