Duggars Family... When Will It End?

Ya so funny!

Anyway she wouldn't show her bare belly AT ALL! Only Jim Bob. Weird! She must stay covered!

She should be proud of her big cute belly to show off....but she don't. Oh well. Her decision. I really hope this time twins then she is DONE with pregnancy! So wait and see!

Modesty or full covering.. it is part of their religious beliefs. hence why they wear long dresses. Muslim women and Amish do the same thing.

anyway, She did mention about stretch marks and doesn't really want people seeing it.

BTW, people, She isn't going to stop til her menopause. She isn't going to withhold sex just like most of you won't so you might as well get used to it.

If my hubby kept me pregnant without birth control, you bet that I wouldn't have sex with him! Men can be responsible for birth control, too.

Supposedly every child was to have 19 children, it would come a grand total of 361, then the great-grandchildren would come to a total of.... 6,859! It's enough to populate a small town!

Chances are, and they know it, that some of them may not be called to be quiver full. Some are called to it, and some aren't and use birth control.

beside, why worry about it? Amish and old german baptist community probably done the same thing. Wait, I think they are doing the same thing.

actually, it is her decision too. They made it together just like how people make decision together to have a child. both party have to agree.

If it wasn't her decision, he would have let her have birth control. He wouldn't divorce her over it or abuse her. (divorce and abuse is against their belief anyhow). If he was for birth control, he have the rights to use birth control too, even withhold sex... but like I said, both agreed to it.

That's the amazing part--she agreed to have all of these kids! I only have 2 kids and that's plenty for me. I can't imagine being pregnant all of the time. Exhausting! My grandmother lived on the farm and had a brood of kids. I've always been grateful for birth control.

well, she did used birth control once, had a miscarriage, and decided never to use it again. Her husband didn't mind birth control then, and I don't think he mind it now. Because she never had a miscarriage since she stopped using it, I think it convinced her even more not to ever use birth control pills. (unfortunately, there are people who keep having babies even with birth control.

anyway, I know someone who have 5 children with 5 DIFFERENT women. Too bad he can get away from caring these kids all at once to acknowledge that he have too many kids because he is still practicing unsafe sex. I don't really know how he pay child support though. These women are on welfare too because they are single mother (and most of them already have two other kids). That's ALOT of kids.

Not "weird", just modest. :)

I think it is funny how people think covering up (modest) is weird, but they totally support it if someone is fat.

In their book, only the good-looking girls should not be modest.

In Vermont, people supported nudity, until extremely overweight people and senior citizens start doing it.. now they are leaning toward more covering. Which make me wonder, do they support being proud of your own body, or they are just perverts who like looking at beautiful bodies. (btw, being modest does not mean a person is ashamed of her body, in fact she have alot of pride to it and saving for someone special)

I think that we have different ideas about being modest. It's also a regional thing. Everyone wears shorts here because it's so hot. When it's 100 degrees several days in a row, pants and long sleeves are not a good option. That doesn't mean that anything has to hang out.

I can wear jeans on hot days. don't bother me a bit.. in fact, I prefer because I don't like being sunburned. But if it really hot, people from my old church would just wear a cool skirt and no hose. but yes, everyone have their own view what is modest and what isn't.

My friend used to breastfeed her baby all the time. She thought she is very modest about it too, but boy some people did not think so.

Yes, I know what you mean about climate. Here in South Carolina it gets very hot and humid. In the summer I normally wear loose cotton capri/pedal-pusher/clam-digger pants, short-sleeve shirt, and sandals. Hubby wears cargo bermuda-length shorts and t-shirts or short-sleeve shirts.

Broomstick skirts are good, too, if you can get some breeze up there. :giggle:

When I'm outside I'm usually doing dirty yard or garden work, so the pants work better for me.

Indoors, it's AC for me.

simply look at Arabs. They all wear those.. "cloth". You can wear pants and long sleeves as long as they're breathable like Under Armor. Cotton clothes are no good. Wool Socks are great especially in hot weather.

Don't forget to wear a hat! :cool2:

for hot weather - I wear "summer jeans". It's lighter and thinner. and I like to wear flip flop. I wear any tshirt.

for cold weather - I wear jeans, boots, and long-sleeve shirts/sweaters like a rancher

Duggar Family Welcomes First Grandchild
Duggar Family Welcomes First Grandchild - Babies, Anna Duggar, Joshua Duggar : People.com

There's doting – and then there's Duggar doting.

Mackynzie Renée Duggar is in for an avalanche of family attention: She's not only the first grandchild in the reality TV clan, but she already has 17 aunts and uncles, plus one more on the way, since her grandparents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are expecting their 19th child in the spring.

Mackynzie was born at the home of her parents, Joshua and Anna, with a midwife and doula attending the birth. "Josh was excited to participate in the birth as well," says a family friend. "They are both so happy."

Josh has been front and center in his wife's first pregnancy – telling her the news that she was pregnant after she was too nervous to look at her own pregnancy test, and reading and singing to his daughter before she was born.

"I ask Anna what she needs," Josh told PEOPLE in July. "I talk to the baby and we involve her in our conversations. When Anna and I are talking to each other, we'll say, 'So, how do you like that, Mackynzie?' "

Although Mackynzie is his first child, Josh knows all about raising babies. He's the oldest child born to the Tonitown, Ark.-based Jim Bob and Michelle, who also are the biological parents of twins Jana and John-David, 19; Jill, 18; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 15; Joseph, 14; Josiah, 13; Joy-Anna, 11; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 10; Jason, 9; James, 8; Justin, 6; Jackson, 5; Johanna, 3; Jennifer, 2 and Jordyn-Grace, 9 months.

The newest Duggar's name came from a combination Josh's cousin's name (Mackynzie) and Anna's middle name (Renée), but the couple hasn't completely committed to "M" being the letter to begin all their children's names. The Duggars famously have chosen "J" names for all their children.

Mackynzie Duggar's birth will be featured on TLC's 18 Kids and Counting special First Grandduggar, airing Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 9 p.m.

TV Mom Michelle Duggar Rushed to Hospital
TV Mom Michelle Duggar Rushed to Hospital - Babies : People.com

Michelle Duggar, star of TLC's 18 Kids and Counting, was rushed to an Arkansas hospital over the weekend – but her pregnancy with Baby No. 19, not due until spring, wasn't the reason for her dash to the doctor.

"This weekend, Michelle Duggar was admitted to an Arkansas hospital due to gallbladder issues," says a network rep. "The pain from a gallstone was generating some contractions. Just to be safe, she was airlifted a Little Rock, Ark., hospital, so that in the unlikely event that she had to be delivered early, she would be close to a NICU center. Though there were some fears that the baby was in trouble initially, it soon was discovered to be solely the gallstone causing the discomfort. Michelle is resting comfortably, and the baby is doing fine."

For now, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's brood of 18 kids will have to get by without Mom at home. "Doctors want to observe Michelle in the hospital for the next couple of days," says the rep, "but it would appear that the pain medication they have given her for the gallstone has worked, and there is no need for immediate surgery. The hope is that any necessary surgery can be delayed until after she delivers."

The physician attending Duggar, Dr. Curtis Lowery of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, tells PEOPLE, "We have every reason at present to expect that mother and baby will proceed with a healthy pregnancy. Mrs. Duggar is in good spirits and feeling much better."

im hope she will be alright
