read the application again, they will ask you if you ever been arrested on felony charge, if you don't have felony charge then you don't have to jot down.

okie dokie. that's entirely up to you to break the law. not my problem.

and..... exactly how would you get arrested? the only way possible scenario I can think of that you can get caught and arrested is if you were caught driving with illegal drug. and if that happened - I would frown upon you.

You will be disappointed to find the truth.

um....... I don't care about your friend. You do not work for DOJ and you obviously do not know your basic civics knowledge.

DOJ is Department of Justice and it is part of executive federal branch. They are responsible for enforcing the law and that's their sole purpose. DOJ covers all law enforcement agencies and DOJ does not recognize those two states' decriminalization drug laws. That's why they still raid some people's homes and businesses and arrest them on federal charge. That's why Obama spoke out about it and wants to change the drug law. Obama has no authority to repeal it.

Supreme Court is a judiciary federal branch and they're responsible for reviewing the law to see if it's unconstitutional or not. The alcohol ban was not unconstitutional and was never believed to be unconstitutional.

Congress is a legislative federal branch and they're responsible for creating or repealing a law. The alcohol ban was removed as per 18th Amendment.

Since the drug law is not unconstitutional... and if the government believes that drug law should be abolished or decriminalize.... only Congress can do it.

and that is the end of your lesson on government and legal system.

perhaps you should ask your friend at DOJ if Supreme Court is part of DOJ *chortling*

however.... while the drug law is still there... the President can order DOJ to not focus on it but this usually never happens because of political reason. it's politically risky and possibly a massive legal liability.

Do you realize that drug law itself prohibits congress from changing that law? Its clear and written during Nixon ERA.

I don't believe that you really understand the shit about drug laws.

sorry. I don't believe you especially since you thought Supreme Court is part of DOJ :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

so... source please? perhaps you're having a very fuzzy moment... you might want to put down whatever the illegal substance you have.

Supreme court is top level of DOJ, where else supreme court fits in? There are three government branches, and that is president, Congress, and Supreme court. Supreme court do NOT have time to make all of decisions, so they let whoever below in DOJ decides.

And have you wondering why 18 members from congress begging Obama to remove Marijuana from dangerous drug list?

uuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm..................... no

and source please? about your claim that drug law itself prohibits congress from being changed.

Department of Justice (DOJ) and US Supreme Court are separated.

DOJ is executive branch.

US Supreme Court is judicial branch.

Very separated and different power branch.

bingo!

lol.......................... wow....... you really are something, eh?

that link says NOTHING about your claim whatsoever!!!!! WHERE EXACTLY in the link did it say about drug law prohibiting Congress from changing it????? and why are you giving me some conspiracy site? the drug law is the real law.... you can easily find it in the Library of Congress and cite it.

One of my first A grade assignment mark was a result of smoking pot during one night when i started and finished an entire essay, what does this say about 'being bad for me"? it was a creative miracle stuff!!

Jiro, what does this means to you?

DPA and Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) Introduce Bill Allowing Drug Czar to Speak the Truth About Marijuana

You see, my point still valid, No ONE wants to be the one to legalize weeds on federal level. DOJ is scared to go ahead legalize and said "Ought not to" when it comes to legalize them, President Obama points at congress because Obama don't want to be the one to legalize cannabis, Congress don't want either, points back to Obama begging him to remove Marijuana from schedule 1 list of narcotic drug list.

There, law requires Drug Czar to make decision whether to legalize weeds or not, however is REQUIRED to refuse legalize them. Its pretty much deadlock, however there will be a day that this deadlock will be broken off. The law was written to prevent drug czar from doing experiment or doing such trial to see if Cannabis is any safer. We all know it is BS!

The easiest way is to remove Cannabis from Schedule I of Narcotic list, that way the rest of dangerous dope remains illegal.

And I know Cananbis is no worse than Alcohol, I have seen too many people died from Alcohol related (Including my relatives) while I haven't seen one related to Cannabis.

^^ same, i was baffled at Jiro's post...rme i mean im talking about the good use of the pot toward creative writing -silly boy!

Ok, I'm closing this thread now.
