Hey Lucia,

I just went to Apple's website. From what I've read, it sounds like my niece has the nano! She received it as a birthday gift yesterday. She was nice enough to let me use it for a few hours, but I wanted so much to take it home with me so that I could "borrow" it permanently! LOL! I'd love to get an iPod nano, but I'll have to see how my finances look over the next few months. :)

Forgive my stupidity, but how does the iPod nano differ from an iPod? My niece has an iPod shuffle, but other than that, I don't know how it differs from the iPod nano. Does the nano have more capabilities than a "standard" iPod? (I'm as ignorant as they come in regards to iPods. LOL!)

The standard Ipod is the most expensive - it has video capabilities. The Ipod nano is smaller and I still would be able to pick songs just by looking at the digital screen. The Ipod shuffle has no screen to look at, you'd need to be able to hear and understand lyrics to know which song you are listening to, I think. I don't care about the video capability, I just wanted to be able to know what song I am listening to, since I can't understand speech and lyrics yet. The Ipod Shuffle is the smallest and least expensive.

Thanks for that information! :) I think I'm going to purchase an iPod shuffle (which I *can* afford). Since I can't see the display, that's not important -- neither are video capabilities.

I can understand song lyrics as long as the song is familiar to me. Since I would only be downloading songs I already know, recognizing songs that are being played shouldn't be a problem.

When you have a chance to buy an iPod nano, let us know what you think of it! :)

Oh, and with the Ipod Shuffle you can clip it to your shirt or jacket or whatever.
 
K so i havent been back in awhile but i had exams n then i started new classes...oo and i got early admission to college!!! still waiting on the university one but they are longer with replying!..but newaysss...soo my classes arent too bad alotttt of talking tho..and one of my teachers doesn't use the board, handouts, overhead or anything only talks:S so this could be problematic!.ANDDDD my FM system is not working so its getting sent in to get fixed so i am currently fm-less and its not cool ...and those herbal pills i got r stupid and useless and im taking them for nothing! my mom was like well maybe theyll help (for the tinnitus)...ya ok prolly NOT! k so im a bit frusterated if u can tell...specially bout the fm thing..just cuz ill be screwed if it gets taken for more than a couple of days:( .... y wont they just get me an ha it wud be soooooo much easier...damn doctors!!!
