To twist the Scriptures is the Satan's interest.

Care to explain why crusaders twisted scriptures to murder million innocent people because of one man who claimed he got the vision from God.

oh yea, dont forget our beloved oaf George Bush, Jr.

It's under the 10 Commandments, "You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name"

It means do not murder someone under God's name, Do not cussed under God's name, Do not lie under God's name and more. :)

Which Scriptures do you believe? Do you mean the original documents in the original languages?

I beleive scriputures because the translation of all scriptures from different bibles are the same. The biblical authors of different religions interpreted from scriptures differently to expose their own religion which is a confusion.

How do you know that the interpretation of the scriptures are correct?

You point off. I do not talk about the belief, but many different religions where you are mostly interested in. Why are you interested in false religions? Why are you interested in true relgions? Which one do you pick?

First of all, question is not point off because I know your religion belief due your posts in different threads. Your posts here sound that your religion is true and other religions is false.

How do you know that different religions are false?

I am not interesting to say which true or false religions but accept what they are. I am interesting to learn and collect different religions why they beleive in.

Why did you pick JW for an example?

Because some ADer negative JW's belief in several threads.

Pick which Bible is most accurate, can you name it for me?

I can't pick and name the bible which I think is most accurate because I am neutral to any bibles and accept what they write differently. I do not want to accuse different religion beliefs that their bibles are not correct or false but like to know why they think their bibles are accurately.

The Christianity is different from the religion.

Christianity belongs one of different religions. You decide for Chrisitianity with your heart because you beleive Christianity religion is true. It does the same with other religion beliefs who beleive in their heart that their religion belief are true. I cannot say anything to prove them that your and their religion beliefs are wrong and false but keep myself neutral and respect their beliefs when I agree/disagree with them without against them personally.

Many bibles from many religions are that they differ each other because they came from 2 streams of the lineage of the Word. Which one of 2 streams do you pick reflecting to the RIGHT Bible?

Yes I understand your point but I don't want to pick which right bible but neutral to any bibles.

I'm sorry to say that Reba did not twisted anything, You did not understand her question.

If you accepted the negatives from the bibles, You also have to accept the positive too. So, far you've been accepting only the negatives.

I did said many times that I accept the bibles no matter what. "no matter what" mean is positive nor negative to ANY bibles. If I do not accept the bibles then I would threw all bibles away to trash bin but I didn't.

You cannot expect that all positive in the bible. There're always have negative and positive in the bible. I only accept anything what we debate in several threads where to relate the title of thread... If we want to talk about Jesus then accept postive and negative what/how we learn about them. It's normal.

Yes all those children and babies are innocents now with God. If God waited until they are in their adults they would turned into like their own parents. God prefer not to. (Remember sin equal death) since the children not knowing from bad and good, they're with God.

I do realize that we made :topic: which doesn't relate this title of thread here. I am going to create another thread and paste your post over there to response.

No, that's where you are wrong, I already explained that on two different times my previous posts that you quoted, You need to pay attention to every word I posted. I'll say this one more time.

In the Old Testament there was no salvation for these people, There were no solution to prevent these people from acting on evil.

In the New Testament There is a salvation. to understand Jesus, we need to understand his death. Jesus knew that He must die, because the Scriptures said so, even God says so. His death was necessary for our salvation so that we don't have to die.

Now we have to go through Jesus, If we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, we will have entirety with him.

Yes, I know Christian's view over the difference between OT and NT but it doesn't mean that our view are wrong when we see different. I only express the difference in god's personality between the two testaments OT and NT, that's all.

Murder is the unlawful killing of someone. God doesn't break His own laws. He had to destroy the spread of their sinful influence that could have destroyed even more people in future generations if they had been allowed to live.

God knew that if those children grew up they would become adult idolaters and sinners who would eventually die in their sins and go to hell. Instead, He mercifully took them out of that evil future into paradise instead. It's mercy of God because He is all knowing; it's not mercy of humans to do that because they don't have the same knowledge of the future and hearts that God has.

I do realize that we made :topic: posts which is not relate title of this thread. I am going to create another thread and paste your post to response.

It never was, is not now, and never will be OK to worship false gods. Jesus didn't remove that law. People have always had free will to obey or disobey. If they disobeyed, the penalty was the same then and now--death. The crucifixion of Jesus took our penalty and put it on Jesus. There is still a penalty for idol worship but if the sinner repents and trusts Jesus, then HE takes that penalty upon Himself.

I can understand but we still have hundred of religions and worship one God, many Gods or whatever in the world. Its about cultural background where they raised to beleive in and thought their bible are true than any bibles from other countries. They would say that you worship false God. Each person decides what they like to beleive in.

Yet mormon claimed that angel came to them then told them bible isn't completed and they need to write new bible. are they lying ? Mormon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Yes.

The Great Mystery: Current Arguments

Christians are well known to be prideful people and aren't afraid to being extravagant with their churches. Weak people usually cave in to their fears and being irrational. These types seem to fit the characteristic of lemmings who wld jump off bridge in name of any Gods.
OK, where are your "links" proving your statement? I would say that borders on slander, and if you can't back that up with something factual you should refrain from that.

It also makes me wonder about the strength of your convictions if you have to resort to slandering an entire group of people as your means of supporting your argument.

You obviously haven't visited enough Christian churches to know that most of them are hardly extravagant.

If people are jumping off bridges in the name of "any gods", then that has nothing to do with the Christian God.

First of all, question is not point off because I know your religion belief due your posts in different threads. Your posts here sound that your religion is true and other religions is false.

How do you know that different religions are false?
Test them if they belong of God.

1 John 4:1 (KJV)

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world
I am not interesting to say which true or false religions but accept what they are. I am interesting to learn and collect different religions why they beleive in.
Why did you NOT test them if they are of God or not? On other hand, you ignore this passage, did you?
Because some ADer negative JW's belief in several threads.
The reason is because they know JW is false cult.

Religions Around the World
Religions Around the World

What is religion?

The simplest answer is: religion is a person's beliefs. Some people believe in a supreme being. Others do not. Some people worship in a church, synagogue, temple, mosque or other building with others who share their beliefs. Others do not.

What do people believe?

People around the world have a wide variety of beliefs. In the United States, many of us are fortunate to live side by side with people who have different beliefs from our own. We have the opportunity to find out what our friends believe and learn to understand the different customs and rituals related to their faith. We also have the opportunity to learn tolerance for the beliefs of others and to embrace the diversity of religious freedom.

Beliefs are a very personal thing. Most of the time, children are raised with the same beliefs as their parents, and their parents' parents before them. Religion is something that is often passed down through the family. As we grow, especially when we become teenagers and young adults, we make choices about how we want to live our lives. Religion often provides the foundation for making the good choices.

What is the purpose of religion?

If we strip away all the rituals, celebrations, traditions and other things that define any particular religion, we are left with something that every organized religion holds dear: GOODNESS. Religion is guide for people to be good. We are human. Humans make mistakes. Sometimes those mistakes hurt others. Mistakes are part of being human. Religion tries to guide people to do the right thing and to be good. Some religions have lots of rules. Some people need lots of rules. Following the rules might not make someone a "better" person, but if everyone follows the rules, it sure makes living together a lot nicer!

Religions change

Religions have a way of changing as time progresses. Many religions split into different variations of the same faith. Sometimes, new religions are created, and new laws or rituals are added. People also change as they grow up and often they change religions becoming "converts" of another religion. Converting to a different religion or staying with the same religion for life is another personal choice people make.

As part of their religion, many are expected to share their faith with others. They spread the word through missionary work to different countries, or by contacting people within their own communities. Others spread the word through their actions and by setting an example for others to follow. Some faiths are more tolerant of the beliefs of others and others are quite insistent that they are the only ones who are "right".

As a member of the human race, it is not really important which religion you follow or if you follow an organized religion at all. Oh! I know many people will strongly disagree with that statement! Let me explain. Religion is about being "a good person". If all people of the world would live life as loving, caring, responsible, honorable human beings, we would live in a wonderful, peaceful world. If people would accept and respect the beliefs, customs and differences of others, we would all be able to live in harmony. Unfortunately, people are not always loving and caring or responsible and honorable. Sadly, many people do not respect the beliefs of others.

Did you ever wonder what kinds of rules different religions have?

It is not possible to cover all the rules (or laws or commandments), for all the religions of the World in these pages; but one thing is for sure: there are many similarities. In almost all instances, the rules and guidelines were given to the people by great men. Many of these rules are said to come directly from a "supreme being". There are many different names for this supreme being. For a moment, let's look at just a few of these great men and the supreme being that gave them the rules and the guidelines for people to be good. In English we call this being: God. Many people believe that they are all talking about the same being. Others do not believe this. Beliefs are different but the purpose is similar.

Have you ever heard of Moses?

Well, many years ago, as the story goes, a little Hebrew baby was placed into the waters of the Nile River (can you find it on a map?). He was found by an Egyptian princess, who raised him as her own child. Later he became the leader of the Israelites and took them out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. On the way, Moses was given a set of laws, called the Ten Commandments, to give to his people. The Ten Commandments were rules, from God, that guide people to be good. Some of the things God told Moses to tell the people were: love each other, don't steal and don't kill. You can read the whole story, of the great man people call Moses, in a book called the Bible. This was the beginning of Judaism (the Jewish faith).

Have you ever heard of Jesus?

Well, many years ago, as the story goes, the baby Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem. Jesus was a Jew. When he came along, people needed to be reminded to be good (sometimes people forget how to be good). Through his stories and actions, Jesus showed people how to be good. He told them to love each other. He told them to treat each other the way they themselves wished to be treated. He demonstrated love and caring. He developed many followers. His followers became "Christians" and Christians believe that this great man was the son of God. You can read more about this great man in the second part of the Christian bible, a book called the New Testament. The first part of the Christian Bible (before Jesus Christ) is called the Old Testament.

Have you ever heard of Mohammed?

Many, years ago, as the story goes, a little baby named Mohammed was born. It seemed that people forgot how to be good again. [Do you ever wonder why people do that? Isn't it easier to be a good person?] Mohammed was raised by his grandfather because his father died before he was born and his mother died when he was only six years old. Mohammed came to understand that the God the Arabs called Allah was "the God" and was the same "one God" that Jews and Christians called God, Yahweh or Elohim. Jews, Christians and Arabs all believed that they descended from Adam and Eve, Noah, Shem and Abraham. Many of the beliefs were the same. How they showed those beliefs differed. Mohammed was a great man and his followers became known as Muslims (the Islamic faith).

Have you ever heard of Buddha?

Buddha was another great man. Many, many years ago (long before the times of Moses, Jesus and Mohammed), a baby named Siddhartha Gautama was born in India near the Himalayas (Can you find India on a map of the World?). When he was a little boy, Siddhartha's father tried to protect him from all knowledge of illness, pain and suffering. He knew nothing about unhappiness, growing up in a palace. Eventually he did learn about all these things and he discovered the cause of unhappiness and a cure for it. He became known as Buddha (the "wise" or "enlightened" one). For 45 years he taught people about the meaning of life. Buddha's teachings became the religion known as Buddhism.

One God, many Gods or no God?

In some religions, people believe in one God. In other religions, people believe there are many gods, each one having a particular purpose. Many religions believe that God is everywhere: God is in nature; God is in the good actions of people; and, God is in the mysteries of life and the heavens. Some people believe that there is no such thing as God. Whatever you believe, always remember that others have a right to their beliefs, even if those beliefs conflict with yours. Always strive to be the best that you can be. Set an example through your good actions.

It might be "interesting" but it's not accurate.

"...Buddha was another great man. Many, many years ago (long before the times of Moses, Jesus and Mohammed), a baby named Siddhartha Gautama was born in India near the Himalayas...."

Moses was born around 1527 BC; Siddhartha Gautama was born around 566 BC. That means Moses was born almost a thousand years before Buddha.

I wouldn't trust that source.

I beleive in reality.

So do I.

Over 2,000 years ago, Christ walked on earth and was among us, that's reality. Now He sits at the right hand of God - that's also reality in our hearts and mind. I accepted Christ in my life. He lives in me, to me that's reality because He is real. His presence is real to those who sincerely believe in Him.

If people chosen a Religious that does not involves the Living God, then they are under false hope. A true worshipers will worship God. If God made us like robots we would be forced to love God, and it won't be real, because love is a choice. We choose who we fall in love with right? If people choose to have a religions based without the Living God, then they choose to do wrong. This world is under a curse spell, we have a freedom of will to do right or do wrong, follow right, or follow wrong.

I don't want to hear any excuses, that they have different religious because they think their religious is the truth. Only truth there is alone is God.

Yep, Liebling that's what I meant on number five "religious faith: faith in God or in a religion's gods" Christianity faith believes in God. That's why I chosen Christian way, because they're going on the right path. Jesus tells us that He is the Truth and that no one can find God the Father except through Him. If you read the New Testament, at the life of Jesus we can see that He was not evil but unbelievably good, He loves everyone, even the unbelievers, He even taught us to love our enemy as He loves us. Satan doesn't know the word "love".

That's one reason why I trust Jesus, and follow Jesus.

Yes, what you did is free of your choice Christianity religion to faith in God because you think Christianity Bible is the truth word of God. It does the same with everyone does to different religions to faith in God, gods or whatever as well.

Again for the third time, My bible did not stated for the Christians only nor did it say Christian bible. No; therefore you don't have any idea what you're talking about.
