The parents need to wake up and say, " you are just the doctor in this specific area and nothing more."

That is very true and very scary so I agree with Jillo too. **nodding agreement** It seems that hearing parents need help with making the right decisions for their deaf child which might be their first time. They look up to the audiologists and CI doctors for help and they give them all the wrong way by threaten them by saying no CI unless you get the only oral environment for education. I feel like telling them to go back to medical school and not try to force parents who have children who have to go through hell in the only oral environment education. Parents need to know that professional doctors and audiologists are not gods. They are as much human as we are. :roll:
