Does it bother you when someone smoke?....

I can smell Marijuana, cigarette and cigars very well. I have a keen of sense on my smell. My next door always smoke a cigar all the times!!!! It's bother me when I get out of hallway. I can't do anything with my next door. It's not my business. I am not allow smoking in my apt period! Smoking is OUTSIDE!!!!

to you, marijuana would go away but it wont come off your clothes or hairs. it stick till you take shower/wash clothes then they will go away. Marjuana do stick to the walls. i have smelled them on the wall before and ugh it smell horrible. same as cigs...

Im one of the person who quit cold turkey and you are right it was DIFFICULT but i MADE it!!!! last June 20th was the 10 years annivesary of me quitting smoking. :dance:

after quitting cold turkey.. i noticed that i havent been sick much? I found out I am allergic to smoking. :laugh2: so my dr was right all along? jeez duh me! lmao!

My mom have emphysema from smoking many years. she had quit for 6 yrs but the damage already is done. She is on oxygen full times and take 3 different medicines. Her lungs are SMALL as I saw her xrays when i took her to ER. you can see that she is having trouble breathing.. this is horrible to see my mom suffering... she will suffer forever :(

my son is allergic to smoking and easily get ear infections when he was young due to his grandma glenda and his stepmom smoke in the house. I told them PLS not smoke around TJ.. they refused to listen.. till i told judge about smoking in their house.. judge said NO smoking in house at all. since then.. all kids havent gotten sick?? they realized i was right.. smoking do cause your kids to get SICK!!! sigh!

I told people not to smoke in my car or my place..my sis knew..but my sis tried to light a cig up in my car and i pulled over and told her to get the hell out of my car. NO SMOKING allowed in my car at all! she siad WHY?? u are mean???? i said RESPECT ME, pls? its my car? ok?? she said whatever! jeez! what happened to respect??? she knew? she doesnt care.. ugh!!!

mom said no smoking in her trailer.. yet my sis sometimes come in with her cigs smoking away... jeez.

I disliked smoking... i hate THE smell of it! it made me feel SICK and want to barf!!!! ughhhhhh.. it even give me headaches and can cause migraine headaches. i had it monday from being around smoking .. sighs! ugh!!!!

I noticed that lot of people are quitting smoking.. the sales of tobacco had come down and that is good... the more the more it will be healthier for everyone... :D

Yes, you are so right! Everything you said is true, that smoking smell
is very, very disgusting. Not only the smell, but the sticky yellow film
on appliances, TV, walls, etc. (if it is orginally white, it will turn pale yellow!)
So i do absolutely hate cigs and their nasty smell and yellow film it
creates.
My husband's father died of smoke related diseases, emphysema and
lung cancer..He was in hospice for a few months and they had to give
him pain killers (I think morphine) every single day. He was a very nice
guy so i do miss him..My husband is going to take his ashes up to
Adirondacks mountains and spread it around his favorite camping and
fishing ground later this month...that was his wish so we are going to
abide his wishes.
And some people have no respect or any consideration for others, it
really pisses me off when they light up in front of me knowing how
much i hate it. :squint:

dont have Chantix! Unbelievable! but maybe it will in time since
it is kind of new prescription so hopefully it will come there so
people who needs help quitting will use it. Thats great, your hubby
did it cold turkey, whoa, that gotta be very tough but he must
have a amazing willpower!! That is awesome and i know you are
proud of him! :thumb:

i know ...hate having to clean the film in car.. gross and can smell them! ugh ugh! cigs do leave film on car windows, walls, everywhere.. unbelivable yellow! its disgusting look.. no wonder my mom always painted yellow beige colors.. i asked her why she said if use white color it will just turn yellow.. so she doesnt want to paint white.. but use yellow color to match the smoking film.. jeez.. i guess that was smart thing? I think not! lol.. but good thing she quit smoking anyway.. lol :)

Off subject, I am talking to my friend, but he did not awake up. He did not listen to me what I said to him that I don't want him to smoke! He did not pay attention to me for years because he is in the coffin. Damn it. He was my friend. How do you (smokers) feel about that? Of course, it is unfair, but be a reality that we need them to stay with us as friends as long we live.
 
When I was a little kid, I bought some white thin rod candies that almost look like a cigarette. It would be nice to have them for smokers to use that candy instead of a real cigarette especially the real cigarettes are "officially" no longer on the market in the nation.

yeah it would be nice... but not good for kids as they do pretend they are smoking and want to look cool when its not! argh...

my niece love those candies and always pretending that she is smoking.. i have caught her smoking real cig.. jeez.. this is not good for kids .. i think they ought to be banned cuz it promote smoking for young kids. thats my opinion...

I used to be smoke weed before. When I took a shower. It goes away from smell at all. It's weird. After I got out of shower. I was smell a clean with shower gel soap. Some people are pothead. Joints is so longer than a pipes. When they are smoke in house can cause smell stick on the wall everyday.
It's same with car.

Your mom is same as my dad and my grandpa had emphysema. It's not funny! They passed away long times ago. My dad found it out. He had a lung cancers. He died at age 48. My dad's mom had Lung Cancer. She had an oxygen with mask face and have many different medicines. My uncle passed away on June 14 when I was on honeymoon. I haven't go to funeral for him. He died of Lung Cancers.

I am sorry about your son is allergy to smoking. His grandparent have no respect to you and son. That's wrong! Judge is right. It same with me. When my dad smoke in front of me. I told him stop smoking in front of me. I got bad sinus. When the smoking coming into my nose. I covered my hand on my nose. He said, "Sorry". I told him go smoke outside. He said, "It's my house!" I was alike argh! Grrr After my dad passed away. I became sick. I had a Sinus infection for 3 years. I had a mono for 5 weeks. I had a sinus surgery after I graduated from High School. Yeah that's true about kids can get sick by smoking in the house. Some parents doesn't care and not listen to their children's sick. That's no respect!

Your sister have no respect you and your mom. She is wrong! It's same as my sister in the law try to light a cig in my apt. I yelled at her to go OUTSIDE. You can read my posts. I really dislike smoking either! Yeah everyone are going to quit smoking because of health and high taxes. It's not worth! Many teenager kids think cigarettes are cool. It's not! My dad started smoke when he was 13. He smoked for 35 years until He passed away at age 48. I used to smoking a cigarette. But I didn't like it. My husband is recent have a migraine because of smoking habit. I told him to quit! He got back to smoke again. His all friends still do smoking around with him. I don't smoke at all. I had been patient with his friends and sister. I can't judge or criticize on them. When i got home from their houses. I jumped into the shower to clean out from STINK!!! I took my clothes put in the washer.

I can't wait for my husband to be finish with his college degree. We will move out of states to stay away from his all friends. He want to get a new friends. He is tired of friends are smoking. It make him bad habit and get addict easy. He suppose not smoke because he had a chronic coughing 4 times.

I agree with you! Smoking Cigarettes aren't COOL! The kids learned from their parent's smoking. It's influenced to their kids. I wish for Smoking banned to all parents' smoking in house. Smoking need BANNED forever!!!! Toobad for people can't smoke because of health issues and high taxes. Smoking cigarette have a HIGHEST addictive and hard to quit. People think it's hard to quit. I told them to go doctor to give some medicine or patches or nitdoerm
