I agree that negligent applies here and a possible malpractice suit can be filed.
With it being in South America not sure what laws apply there.
It states that the baby died of asphyication. It very well may been something the doctors could have done by simply clearing out the airway. But the OP article also stated the along with other complications.
Until we know. Can not truly say.
I can say that I feel both doctors did not intend for the baby to die. They allowed their ego come before medical care.
More than likely a manslaughter charge will uphold than a murder charge if the doctors are found that something could have been done to save this baby. Instead of fighting.
Another question. Which doctor will be charged? The one that was called in? Or the doctor that was suppose to be there??
Perhaps the hospital itself will be sued!
