Yeah, I put my life trust God on this. I work every day on the street and aware of surrounding around me so I do know how to read people and aware of their dangers. I have two dogs believe it or not they are so loud enough to make me feel them and know something is outside. I used to have my son's dog in backyard and people are so afraid of her and called animal control on us twice compalined about her even thou she was never leave the property, very well obeiendent dog. I felt safe with her but now with her gone and I have two babies. I have husband with me all the time so I am no worry. Plus we have good neighbors they keep eye on us too. As for my job, I trust my life on God. Anyway this thread should not be in this abortion, they probably will remove some of them here.

great jazzy. big main point is - you're FREE to choose whatever deems necessary/right for you. You choose to have 2 dogs as protection and companion. I choose to have a gun in my household for defense and sport. So should any women. They should be able to choose abortion or not. It should be a win-win for all. Anti-abortionists can choose NOT to have abortion. I think it's stupid for anti-abortionists to worry about fetuses in other women. It's not their business, not their babies, and not their bodies.

Why is that funny? I have small dogs and when they bark at the window I can feel it bounce back from the glass.

I call it fallicious when you label an embryo a baby. I call it fallicious when you compare two unrealted situaitons as being the same. I call it fallicious becuase it is. It is not a matter of whether you agree or disagree. It is a matter of you using fallicious reasoning to support your view. And you had the freedom to choose how to handle your situation as you saw fit. How dare you even think of denying the same to other women. You demand choice for yourself, yet seek to deny that same choice to others.

The guns and dogs are not only for my defense. The goats need them as well. We have cougar and black bears on our property and I lost a goat to a cougar. The guns are not only for wild humans.

Exactly. And she has no right to demand that they do. No one is trying to take away her right to believe as she chooses. Yet she is attempting to deny just that to millions of other women.

Why don't you just try demanding that those "wild humans" adopt your value system? Try it with the bear and the cougar, as well. See how far you get.

so how would you feel if the anti-gun people took away your gun rights? They do not care what you use the gun for - animals, sport, humans. They just think gun is evil and it creates wars, crimes, etc. It kills life - both human and animal. You kill animals in self-defense for your goats. How would you feel if the animal rights activists had the guns banned because it's cruel to take away animal's life?

Exactly, Jiro. There are many in this country that are opposed to guns. But they do not deny her the right to have one, as long as she does so within the proscribed limits of the law. Same with abortion.

No not Fallacious. One opinion among many about guns. Just as Roe V Wade is one opionion among many about life. Even though the argument was decided based on a complete lie. So we have a whole class of humans denied right to life because one woman lied about how she got pregnant. People used to think slaves should be denied the right to life if the master chose. Now no one thinks that is true. Some day I hope people will feel the same about all babies.
