If a pregnancy threatens a womans life the doctors are justified in taking that babies life. But it is still killing another human. If someone threatned my childs life I could and probably would kill them if I had no other way to stop them. I would probably require therapy but at least my child would be safe.

Well, to be quite frank, in my perspective the way I see it, the unborn baby didn't do anything to do a crime while a criminal do a crime. How could a mother decide to remove an unborn baby from its mother's womb ? Why can't a mother just give a baby to the motherless couple who can not bear a child ? Or shall I say a barren woman ? There's another option a mother can do for its child, if a mother decide not to keep the child.

But, as for a criminal, that's ANOTHER story......

For me, If I have wife that who in life threaten then I would rather to get abortion to save my wife's life, for life threaten, wife's life is more worth than newborn.

I have a friend's daughter who had an abortion and I understand why she wanted to removed because she was 14 and a man who had sex with her was 18 and he should be thrown in jail for statury rape. He never got arrested for it. Then what was worst thing, the family of the man who raped her wanted to take child away from her and raise the child. Do u think she has a right to raise a child herself if she decided to keep the baby? She wanted to keep baby but knew she would lose the child so it was her choice to abort it. I think it was right thing for her to do because she already damaged it by being on heavy drugs.

fredfam1, there's 2 ways to say, pro-life's opinion said abortion is murder and pro-choice's opinion said abortion isn't murder, there's different of define about reason on abortion, if healthy woman who have pregnant so accidently from unwanted pregnant or BC then they need goes to give for adoption, if women who suffers from life threaten, rape or health issue that related to pregnant, such as vomiting so repeatly everyday or something like that then they could goes to abortion to save their life for life threaten or health issue and relieve about remove baby from rape that women who don't want share with genetic from rapist.
