Nah. My mother has been a heavy user and I don't like the side effects - hence the reason I said I dont smoke it.

I don't intend to smoke it very often after it becomes legal and I have smoked pot exactly once in my life.

Booze is legal and I have seen the effect that excessive drinking have on people but I would not ban it.

would be good with restrictions. can limit who sells it and the amount you can have in your possession. every 10 years this gets more acceptable.

I know about the outlawing. Hemp is durable stuff and can be utilized in many different ways. The U.S. Constitution's paper is made out of hemp.

Yup, as were the first American flags, the uniforms of the patriots, the sails and ropes of virtually every American ship, whether for war or commerce, up to and beyond 1944, and so on and so on...

:dunno: But I do know I have seen alot of lives destroyed by pot.

Exactly....so why add to the problem??? :)

Plus it would kill the TV show "Cops"

Ban alcohol. Make Mary Jane legal. And I don't like either of them.

Hmmm.....

Marijuana can be decrease your bone to weak, depend on people's condition which isn't good.

It's another drug that you shouldn't use while drive like as alcohol. That would increase trouble for another DUI/DWI.

That's why I prefer "medicinal purposes only"

Pot is more dangerous and more potent than alcohol .. Don't delude yerselfs potheads... Todays pot is 10 times more potent than pot 30 years ago and is very addictive...

No, we dont need another addictive drug for people to use !!! It will just increase addiction services and decrease responsibility to legalize pot...

Well, it is not addictive in the same way as nicotine or heroin. It is a lifestyle addiction. I had no problem quitting after 35 years, but I had to convince myself that I did not want to use it any more. There was no withdrawal. I just had overcome the fear that I would regret not having my pipe handy. Turned out to be easy. Only time I miss it is watching NFL football games with my bro.

It is far less harmful than alcohol, but it is unlikely we can make a switch of legal substances. As for making alcohol illegal, I think they tried that once...

I've known people to say that the only way to deal and handle with stress and anger was to smoke a joint....and that "I should try it"!....Sounds like a "crutch" to me!

Plus, your reflexes are slower...(for some, while driving, it either feels you are going too slow or too fast), ur thinking is clouded, and you "wonder off" from conversations....you become "forgetful" of appointments, where you put things....eat more....sleep more....become "lazy"....(with ur hygeine and going to work) and everything is funny, until the "high" stops and you become depressed.....It's a merry-go-round! A friend of mine was so stoned once, could not remember his phone number or his social security number....So does it affect ur brain cells also??? Long time effects?? I believe it does.

it doesn't matter. it's not only you, it's individual who, once take, want more. Can't stop. Like that dude who addict on video game and can't stop.

I can quit because I knew how to handle. Other people don't. It's because you're think yourself, not for other people.

I even try out marijuana and I hate it. It's my personal.

Some people can drink alcohol all the time and be fine. Some people cannot. Yes, it does depend on the individual.
