do girls like guys wore expensive clothes or dresses?

Australia!?

Blah... Dress the way you like... You don't need to wear expensive/branded clothing to make yourself look more appealing.

I knew a girl always brought expensive clothing, and rarely wore the same clothes twice. All her clothes were beautifully design, etc. But very few looked good on her; some of the designs made her look big and out of proportion.

You can find an expensive clothes with bargian prices at Outlets, TJmax, Marshall and other!! :D :D

There is a huge difference between being well-groomed and being well-dressed. I agree.

Living in an urban setting, I chose to dress very casual (t-shirt, out-of-date clothing). It is for reasons of self-defense. Someone who dresses nicely is more likely to get robbed, mugged, et al.

When I can, I dress appropriately for the event I an attending. This includes wearing costumes! :cool2:

I knew a man who was overtly practical. He couldn't care less to wear clothing that was "fashionable today, old-fashioned tomorrow." Yet, he'd lived in a beautiful four-bedroom house, complete with a den, a family room, a living room, dining, and, even, an office. He'd paid for all of his children's education - all the way up to their Master's degree and made sure all of them had a functioning car. His wife had the amazing ability to piece together old and new clothing to appear fashionably ahead.

Can't judge a book by its cover.

I like to dress to look nice, but I do not purchase items that are price through the ceiling so I can "sport a label" Thats just foolish. I think most of us want to go in public looking nice, or feeling like you are dressed good, it does have some positive effect on your self-esteem to a point. I tend to purchase specific brands cuz the way they fit on me and feel. I think some of my clothing is a little expensive, but I love the product, not necessarily what someone else thinks. I have nice suit to wear to church and 1 tuxedo for special formal events, but of course those are items that are not worn every day.

I've seen women go after men who were like metrosexuals, and it turned out that those men were actually horrible.

I'm the same with women. I'm not crazy for women who spend most of their time and money on clothes than they do on other things. I knew a gal who refused to wear the same outfit at least twice. She went to RIT with 3 boxes of clothes and left RIT with 20 boxes of clothes and this was only for 1 year.

 Oh, well... that's for women. You should be glad that you are not a female.

But, I do know that some men likes to shopping for car magazines/or playboy magazines and they are filled in boxes as well -- it could be anything. No difference.

Well, Nat84, I buy expensive clothes whenever they
are on sale cuz i hate cheap clothes, heh.
I never buy clothes at Wal-Mart, Target or at any
discount stores cuz they are not good quality clothes and
they just dont last long. Im sorry to be like this but i like
get my moneys worth. You get what you pay for, ya know?

Doesn't matter where you buy your clothes. Most of them are made in foreign sweatshops by people who make far less than what we make at our jobs.

I have had clothes from Target that are about 3 or so years old and they still look new. Just gotta take good care of them, that's all.

Hahaha... that's what they all say.

The most common excuse is that they want to look good and unique.

To me, I never notice. Even if a woman got a brand new shirt, I wouldn't even notice it. I would notice her instead... not her outfit. If it was a nice night like a formal date, then I would make an effort to appreciate what she's wearing... but I'm not going to look at her outfit like I've never seen it before. I'll look at it as an outfit that looks wonderful on her. :)

People pick whatever they want to wear is not my business. It's their style. Everyone had different taste for clothes.

As for me, I dress casual because it's comfortable and sometimes I wear trendy clothes. I don't buy crazy price like at bloomingdale, $500 for jean or for $1,000 bag. I buy on sale at Macy's or Ross Store. Sometimes I buy at Goodwill or Out of the Closet store (They had some good clothes and some stuff). So, I don't care anyway.

I'm just glad to be back to wearing t-shirts. I feel too fake in polo shirts.

I have tried that but no such luck, they shrink out of shape,
warped, whatever even if i wash them in cold water,
hang dry or whatever, geez. I can tell they are so flimsy,
cheap and poor quality looking when i see them at the
discount stores that im just leery of them even though
they are so pretty and all.
Since you bought them 3 or so years ago, they are probably
at least decent quality stuff back than they are now, reckon?
who knows? :dunno2:
