Difference of opinion on same issues....

The car is pretty small and will probably fall down to ground with the weight of turbo engine.

turbos are bugger all, not that heavy all it needed it s big more piping, and a low compression ratio to make for the boost, (one reason i dont like turbos is the lag, i prefer supercharged as it is from 0 revs to redline (and beyond)...but no, i actually prefer Ferrari Engines full stop. (driven some and it'd piss on anything else on the road).

it already does, fairly rare, on top of my head, DeafCaroline is one of them....audiofuzy is NOT :giggle:
and gloggy, kokonut arent either  i dont give a shit if i actually dropped names, its just proof of the existence of invalidators in this forum... there is probably a ratio of 1:8 of members who arent invalidators. that is just a wild guess but it would be pretty close I'd say.
Sad really...
I just wish mods would boot of habitual invalidators but not its not my job....hmmmm...maybe i should apply and encourage more swearing?? lol

For the record, I have never invalidated anyone's experience. I have long recognized that each of us, whether deaf or hard of hearing, have different experiences, upbringings, and preferences to communicate. I have repeatedly said for years that we all share one thing in common and that's communication access whether a person has mild or profound hearing loss. The problem is that some people are unable to get past other posters' opinions and while others can.

I've noted in your posting that you have strong conviction and that is an excellent trait to have. Stand up for your opinion in the face of others disagreeing with it and let them have their own opinion. After all, opinions are not facts and as long as you don't try to make them so, you'll be fine. Others want their opinion to be taken as fact but everyone can see through that hogwash.

it IS fact, not negotiable
,ever noticed everyone else says so.
erm I dont buy the comment about "strong conviction", it is mixed up with arrogance, which is more fitting.

Oh, I have for years. No biggie if other people disagree. I just let them do the talking. So, no worries, mate.

OMG! What a hyperbole! I'm MELTING!

Re your post. kokonut, can we say gaslighting, boys and girls?
Check out the bolded part.. that's what's going on.
source is wiki:
Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse in which false information is presented with the intent of making a victim doubt his or her own memory and perception. It may simply be the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred, or it could be the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim.

The term "gaslighting" comes from the play Gas Light and its film adaptations. In those works a character uses a variety of tricks, including turning the gas lamps lower than normal, to convince his spouse that she is crazy. Since then it became a colloquial expression which has now also been used in clinical and research literature.

I think many will agree with me on this one.

My ex hubby was good at gaslighting. It was horrible.

I am glad I am not the only one to see this ploy consistently used. Don't fall for it.

Birds of a feather . . .

Right you are. We Eagles always fly far above the buzzards.

Strange. You and kokonut behave more like buzzards than eagles. There's nothing noble about either of you. If it quacks like a duck, it IS a duck.. or in this case if it buzzes like a vulture... well I'm sure you get my drift. :laugh2:
