Die for your country! Or they will do it for you!

As well they should. They deal with terrorists and gang members that have more firepower than the police, (and believe it or not) law abiding gun owners. Whether you accept it or not, ammo costs and DOJ and DHS are required by agency policy to qualify at the range every month. The ammo doesn't come out of the agents' pay check, it's purchased in bulk by the agency. (the police do this too, it just doesn't make the papers like it does for federal employees). The terrorist have changed our society permanently since 9/11. As the Israelis have shown us, either you adapt and adjust accordingly or die as fools in your ignorance. We live in a different country now with new dangers and we must always be prepared. A lot can change in a moment.

major differences between Israel and us

1. Israel is surrounded by hostile countries.... we are not
2. Israel is defended by soldiers and armored vehicles... our country does not...
3. Israel deals with suicide bombers, invaders, terrorists, etc on frequent basis.. we do not
4. we have law enforcement agencies for specific things.... we have "peace officers" for communities.... and SWAT for something more dangerous that peace officers can't do.... and National Guards for something that SWAT can't do....
5. when's the last time you've heard of gang members and terrorists gunning us down with automatic weapons like LA Bank Robbery?

when our peace officers are arming themselves and having a mentality like SWAT and National Guards... then we have already lost.

our local police officers need to focus on de-escalating situations as what many countries do like Europe, Asia, etc. they do not even have guns.

I'm just having a great difficulty in understanding this....

The incident began after Wrana, who uses a walker, refused a surgery at his assisted living home. He grew agitated at the staff for pressuring him for medical attention.

"The incident began after Wrana, who uses a walker, refused a surgery at his assisted living home. He grew agitated at the staff for pressuring him for medical attention. "

Do you mean why did the staff keep pressuring the poor guy to have surgery ? If that is what you mean there could had been a number of reasons the family may had wanted the guy to have the surgery . Or the Dr. was knife happy and wanted the $$$ for doing the surgery . I am sure the Dr. knew of the high risk of the old man going under anesthesia . So I can't understand why anyone was pressing the poor man . And it illegal to have a person sign any papers they do not understand. This is a case of elder abused. When my mother was in a nursing home the owner wanted mom to sign a paper and I happen to be visiting my mother . My mom wanted to talk to her oldest daughter before signing the paper and the owner was pressing my mom to sign the paper. I told the owner my mom has the rights to talk to her daughter before signing the paper. The owner made a big mistake , she thought because I am HOH I was stupid and timid like my mom . Boy was she wrong. I would not back down , that was my 85 yo mother
and as was not going to let any one bully her into signing anything.
So I am thinking that maybe there was family member behind the guy having the surgery . If that is the case that person is very selfish .

why are you trying to incite a riot and agitating us? hyperbolic rhetoric and slanting just don't work anymore. please stick with the facts and learn how to accept a difficult reality that some situations are impossible for police officers to deal with and they did the best they can.

if you want to preach about citizenry, murder, etc.... then perhaps you should thought about it before you commit a crime because you know what's worse than pigs? self-entitled ex-cons. again - stick with facts.

I'm sure that he's smart because he graduated from prison. :ugh:

We are surrounded by hostile countries...I don't consider England a "friend" nor France....

England has so many Muslims, and such problems with militants and it's making many natives uncomfortable and as a federal employee, I can tell you many of our DHS offices are there to assist and assess the threats they face. This is the only area where we're actually working together with a foreign country... That aside, I don't compare us with the rest of the globe and I'm not impressed with the so called "des-escalating" tactics of Europe. England jails people for self defense, Asia uses the death sentence in just as many minor cases that wouldn't warrant it in the U.S., you can be jailed for criticizing the government in Thailand, jailed for insulting the king (a good 20 years in fact), etc.

This country is far behind Israel in developing the right mentality. Believe it or not, we will be hit with another 9/11 that will make the last attack look like child's play and no one will see it coming. Everyone knows it, no one will talk about it, but not talking about it doesn't mean it won't happen. It will, everyone in federal and state law enforcement agrees on this. We do not live in 1956 or 1974 or 1995 and we have to stop pretending like we do. Freedom isn't free. Again, prepare for the worst or perish like fools. You don't need to be a federal employee to know our way of life is in the past - you either accept it or you pretend that 9/11 was an isolated incident with no consequences.

I think he talks about USA neighboring countries are not hostile like Canada and Mexico. UK and France are really far away and we are in middle of ocean with Atlantic and Pacific in two different sides.

In my side, I think northern Mexico is more hostile due to drug war.

these bastards murdered a 95 year old man..if thats what you consider the best they can then well............you come by honestly ill give you that

facts are what i did close to 20 years ago and the price i paid for it close to 20 years ago is just that. its not where a mans been but where he ends that is more important and further i'm a better man now then i ever was. so wee minded people like you resort to ad hominm
obviously
i apologize if my emotions got the better of me here...just well pigs murdering people......your right
nothing to see here move along
uh uh

I don't think whacking back is a solution.

i don't wan tit to be. i'm not endorsing it. im trying to say if it keeps up eventually it will happen. on a large scale..i'm no saint. i was outraged when i read about this. indeed i should of been more mindful in my language and how i came across.

That will just make the cops even more aggressive, and a tightening of the circle of wagons. I believe more legal penalties against them have to pursued, from the top down. Cities have to clean house at all levels.

i agree and sure hope so

pigs. murdering. bastards. these are hyperbolic rhetorics. it reduces credibility and it cheapens the cause because it makes you sound like a politician.

like I said... if you stick with the facts and capitalize on that.... you would be more believable. at this point right now with the way you're doing... we're just yawning and shooing you away cuz you're just as annoying as a vacuum salesperson or life insurance salesperson.

remember - when you talk like that... we will always see you as an ex-con with a serious grudge against "pigs" and "government" when in fact you just can't deal with reality that we have something called laws and order. my suggestion for you - stick with the facts. speak the facts. keep the facts clean. and you'll just do fine.
