Die for your country! Or they will do it for you!

I'm a bit cranky sure. It's just getting more and more with these guys murdering people with impunity
It's rising.
It's ominous
It has to stop. But it won't given how many worship them.

 Ok. I can relate to "cranky"!

It's a perfect storm of serious mistakes:

1. The man shouldn't be forced into a surgery he doesn't want.

2. The nursing home used poor judgment in escalating the situation by calling the police.

3. The police totally mishandled the confrontation.

I think there should an investigation into the nursing home , it looks like they're trying force elderly people to have surgery against their own will . The surgery could had kill the guy so why was he being forced to having it? It looks like the Dr. is trying to bill insurance companies only to made money and has no regard for the patients . This is case of elderly abuse at it worst.

What about the people who actually murdered him?

The cops should be held accountable for their actions and removed from duty while an investigation take place. I have a horrible feeling nothing will happen to the cops. I think the cops should have to go to trial and spend some time in jail. But I doubt that will happen. What do you think should happen to the cops ? This is just so upsetting to me. I was health aide and I had to report any elder abuse and I helped solved an elder abuse case with one of my client. the woman had Alzheimer's was being abused by her husband . She was removed from her home . I wonder if the man in this story had any family left and close by. All that staff had to was stop trying to get the guy to have surgery and he would had settle down.

I had a male client that had Alzheimer's and his wife had just dies . He had a health aide 24 hours a day. I covered for the health aide so she could get a break . When the health aide left my client asked me " If my wife will be
back soon?" I had no idea how the guy reacted to his wife's death and I did not want to find out. He was a big man and very strong so I told him his wife will be back in awhile and he was fine again. I found out later that I had done the right , that you should never get a person with Alzheimer's upset and it the same with dementia . So I can't understand why the HELL the staff did not know this .

Cops killing people instead of putting them under arrest is becoming more frequent. Police have killed a man holding a garden hose (with a pistol-shaped nozzle) sitting on a porch. They shoot kids who are holding toy guns or swords. They take the word of informants without verifying the accuracy of the information, they then break down the wrong door and the homeowner thinks it is someone breaking in and they arm themselves and the cops shoot the homeowners multiple times. The latest trend is police departments receiving surplus military equipment to boost their SWAT units. Now police are stopping motorists who have out of state plates and run a check and find out you are a registered gun owner. They have you and your family frisked and the vehicle searched and if they don't believe you, you are arrested. Your gun at home, hundreds or thousands of miles away. In NY, bystanders are wounded or killed by police who can't hit their target and spray bullets everywhere. Nothing happens to the police.

Murder,
These pigs murdered this man. Looks like a classic case of contempt of cop. Bean bag rounds on this guy. Pussies!!!!!
And will like usual most likely get off scot free. Maybe a wee suspension with pay and the tax payers will pay what's ever fine levered not he department
And thus
The militarization of Americas police moves ever onward with the goose step

Bastards!!!!!

I have absolutely no problem with the way cops handle it just like any other hostile subject - regardless of age. In this case.... I believe the nursing home has made a series of catastrophic errors that made cops to believe that they were called to handle a hostile subject. And also... this is really an excessive force and cops should exercise some common sense.

they need to focus on de-escalation rather than escalation.

Yes jiro we all know you have no plms what so ever with pigs murdering people, shooting a unarmed 95 year old multiple times yes yes yes jiro
Of course the pigs an never do any wrong

Yawn

It is getting worse. Of course it would. Until the pigs start getting whacked in return it will only get worse

And it will. Going at this rate America will very much soon resemble third world shit holes when it comes to pigs and the rest of us.
In the end. Once people get into their heads they won't be able to surrender or stand a chance. Expect more pigs to get a lead sandwich.

Thus the militarization of Americas police ever marches onward

Ooh I dunno. What do you think would happen to you or me if we murdered a 95 year old unarmed man?

Yes. I do. I don't get it. You ask what I think should happen to these murderers. I answer asking a rhetorical question to illustrate a Point.
I'm sorry if it appeared to be something else.
That said to answer your question.
I would like these murderers to have the same fate any other American. Citizen would face if they murdered this guy.
That's my answer. You don't have to accept it or even hold it. I'm not An authoritarian. . I respect any ones differing views here. But my answer to the question you asked me is the above.
Will these murderers face the same as we would?
No they will not
I know your close to my position on this. I wouldn't give a shit really if I didn't love America the way I do even though I can't be here. But I spent close to 20 years of my life there. I have even the militarization of Americas pigs, and I don't like it.
These bastards who are getting away with murder, and killing peoples dogs weekly, and doing essentially any damn thing they want to he citizenry with very little if any repercussions have to be stopped.
They won't
To to many worship them, as is apparent int his forum from some posters.
Thus America is heading towards a rather ominous fate.

i have been saying this for years. :(
Rather recently a SWAT team broke into the wrong house near mine and shot the dog, and naturally they got away with it. I have been reading about the Post Office handling huge quantities of ammunition, and guess who the customers were? The DEA and other departments. It is really a no-brainer that we are becoming militarized.

The staff at the nursing home should had exercise some common sense too.
The 96 man yo had no memory and they where trying to reason with him . I worked with people that had Alzheimer's and I was very careful about not getting them upset . I had a guy that had Alzheimer's and I gave him some tea and when he finish his first cup I asked if he would like some more tea. The guy looked at me as if to say he never had any tea . I had to act if he never had any tea and I asked if he would like a cup of tea .
I could had told the guy he just drank a cup of tea and that could had gotten him upset. I made is easier for both us and when along with the
the Alzheimer's symptoms and did not try to fight it. For the life of me I can't understand why no one at the nursing home knew how to handle a patient with dementia . The whole mess started with the Dr. the nursing home staff , they failed to do their job and let the whole thing grow out of control and it cost the guy his life. At least the old man is at peace now. But he did not have to dies the way he did . Shame on everyone involved in this sad situation . I hope some good come out of this and that someone check out that nursing home to see if they should be in business in the first place .

When I was no longer able to work as a health aide I was very upset that I was no longer able to report cases of elder abuse . I had one client that had dementia and she was the sweetest person . I went to her house one day and she had a black eye. I asked my client what happen and before she could say anything her daughter said she hit her heard at the window getting out of bed. Then the daughter made a move toward her mother and the mother pulled her head away from her daughter . Body language does not lies. I reported this to my boss and I was taken off the case . My boss believed the daughter half ass story! I feel the same way do , the cops over acted and not use their brains . Just where was a 96 yo using a walker going to get explosives to made a bomb. The guy had dementia and can't remember what he read from one second to the next . So how could he had followed instruction to made a bomb??

Indeed. In the end they murdered him for nothing. And will get away with it as par the course
One day many years from ow it will stop. But that will be after allot of bloodshed and allot of dead pigs
Until hen
They will murder with impunity

I don't think whacking back is a solution. That will just make the cops even more aggressive, and a tightening of the circle of wagons. I believe more legal penalties against them have to pursued, from the top down. Cities have to clean house at all levels.

why are you trying to incite a riot and agitating us? hyperbolic rhetoric and slanting just don't work anymore. please stick with the facts and learn how to accept a difficult reality that some situations are impossible for police officers to deal with and they did the best they can.

if you want to preach about citizenry, murder, etc.... then perhaps you should thought about it before you commit a crime because you know what's worse than pigs? self-entitled ex-cons. again - stick with facts.

Five rounds, fired at a 95-year-old man who needed a cane to walk, because police said they were afraid.

Afraid? Oh, pleeezzzeee. No excuses.

I have been reading about the Post Office handling huge quantities of ammunition, and guess who the customers were? The DEA and other departments.

As well they should. They deal with terrorists and gang members that have more firepower than the police, (and believe it or not) law abiding gun owners. Whether you accept it or not, ammo costs and DOJ and DHS are required by agency policy to qualify at the range every month. The ammo doesn't come out of the agents' pay check, it's purchased in bulk by the agency. (the police do this too, it just doesn't make the papers like it does for federal employees). The terrorist have changed our society permanently since 9/11. As the Israelis have shown us, either you adapt and adjust accordingly or die as fools in your ignorance. We live in a different country now with new dangers and we must always be prepared. A lot can change in a moment.

No, the public has to been made more aware of what goes on in nursing homes and if someone is planning on putting a love one in a nursing home they need to made a visit to the place and DO NOT tell them you're coming . They needs go at difference times of the day to see how the elderlies are getting treated and pay attention to what it smell like . If you're smelling a lot urine that could mean people are wearing depends that needs to be change . I feel you should never put a love one in a nursing if you're not able to check on them at least once a week. The cops needs to be trained how to deal with people that have
Alzheimer or dementia , and no one knew how to deal with a person with
dementia in that nursing home . Education is the key word here , the cops , nursing staff , doctors etc need to understand how the mind of a person with Alzheimer or dementia works.
