Did you get your appendix removed or not?

Still feeling jabs ?? My friend almost died from appendix :eek:

Jake, appendicitis is not really a condition that "comes and goes." Some will develop it over a week, maybe 10 days. Some may be severly symptomatic within 24-48 hrs of onset. If worried about symptoms/location of pain PM me for more Q answers feel free.

There are SO many gastrointestinal problems that have symptoms that come and go. If there is problem like that schedule routine physician visit so they can do labwork maybe CT scan of abdomen to possibly diagnose a problem if one present.

I had my appendix ruptured and removed when I was 10! I don't remember fisrt 4 days in hospital after surgery, but then U know I got spoiled by everyone in family and nurses and I thought it was like fun vacation after few days.

True. Acute appendicitis that left untreated and further ruptures will ultimately 100% of time cause peritonitis which could lead to septic shock and death.
