Detail Emerges About Garner’s Chokehold That Could Change EVERYTHING

It's pretty simple... stop breaking a law and the police won't be onto you. One little thing and the person makes a big deal of it and resist arrest. Media gets all over it and public comes protesting without knowing the real facts.

Some people just choose the hard way.

when some people choose the hard way, the police has to react in a lawful manner. in this case, the officer used an illegal chokehold that led to Garner's death.

I'd be curious about any follow-up on the duty sergeant.....

if the officer didn't use illegal chokehold... Garner would have been alive today.
I know that but he already did anyway. Garner's last words "I can't breathe I can't breathe" should prompt the officer to loose it up but it didn't happen because the officer ignored his complaint. That's why the medical examiner said "Homicide - death by chokehold".

Edited: My bad, it was death by compression to neck and body, asthma, heart disease and obesity. Garner said the last words when the same officer using his hands pushed Garner's head down onto the sidewalk very hard. It was a homicide that includes accidental murder.

yes it's called homicide because he died as the result of person's negligent action. it is a part of standard police procedure to "pile" onto subject's back in order to subdue him easily and then quickly turn him around to breathe.

I think there are 3 kinds of death - homicide, accidental, and natural cause.
