This is Derek and I coming from Lincolnwood Mall just outside of Chicago, in Lincolnwood, IL. I took my photo in his van, while he was driving, and took his after he dropped me off. Sorry for the mistake. :(





Derek showed me a new phone he has a goal to save for, and it's actually quite nice, and I brought two Micro SD cards for future use-- one is 16 GB, for my tablet, the other is 8 GB, for my phone. I also have a nice picture for Jess, too (Hint: her user name here was spotted there.)

Oh, yes. We had a wonderful time. I'm hoping to do it again before long. Odd thing was, it was kinda a last minute thing, because prior to today, there weren't any plans for lunch for either of us, so we agreed to meet up there.
 
Is the van turbocharged? Better be with all the turbocharge talk he does. :giggle:
 
You lost weight, Chicago?....Looked so much heavier (face-wise) in the other pixs....anyhow...good pixs!

Lunch. Then Derek and I went to Best Buy Mobile (Yes, they have these around here), and I saw an 8 GB card and a 16 GB card that I wanted to buy, but held off on doing so until I explored other options. After that, we visited Lids, a hat store for sports teams, and I sorely wanted to buy a new Cardinals hat, but not enough money (The price plus taxes equal close to $40). Then we visited T-mobile, where he showed me a phone he has plans to buy some day. Then he asked me to take a picture, which I did, and then we went back to Best Buy, where I explored my options, and I wanted to buy two 16 GB Micro SD card, but opted for one 8 GB and one 16 GB. After that, we hopped in his van, and he drove me here, but on the way here, I snapped my photo, which was taken around California and Touhy. Then I told Derek to take a shortcut, which would be easier for him to get to my house, and sure enough, it worked.
 
Sounds like a super fun day. Glad you two were able to go out and enjoy yourselves.

Yes, it was. And we did in fact, enjoy ourselves. Derek took a photo of a cat shelter poster at Lincolnwood Mall (I snapped the photo), and it was kinda ironic, but I snapped it, and then we explored the place a little bit, and then before we left, I brought my Micro SD cards, because I wanted to increase my tablet storage space, and I successfully did that-- I doubled it from 16 GB to 32 GB, so I am in good shape.

I am hoping to do it again when it warms up, because the winds today were rough.
 
That's fantastic. It does the soul good to get out of the house and have fun with friends! :)
