Dem: Senate has 'gun to our head' on health

then what makes you think, Foxrac, that the govt can do "better" with this health care reform bill at the national level all across the U.S.? Despite billions of dollars worth or pork hidden away in this bill that has nothing to do with insurance?

I think so because I agree about ban on pre-existing condition and deny or cancellation of insurance for any kind of diseases, that's two of my most priority and that's left me so no choice about agree with others so decided to support the health care reform.

I don't know why they said cost $1 trillion to have health care reform, except for public options from house bill but senate bill, still figure out about where cost will goes.

There are always choices, Foxtrac.

Nothing.... just nothing.

It's ok, I'm sorry if you don't like me to follow your word.

Just nevermind, I'm just have difficult time to get deal with PFH since he don't like my word when I'm speaking so that's his problem, anyway.

Even, kokonut won't answer my question.

What question?

What question?

Would you support bill that simplify about ban on pre-existing condition and deny or cancellation of insurance coverage by insurance companies WITHOUT any government control, even no mandatory coverage? I means 2 sentences so simply.

That's what I want you to answer, thanks.

That's what I want you to answer, thanks.

Kokonut already answered that in this thread.

Read carefully:
He said he is not for health care by the government, and he is for banning denying insurance based on preexisting conditions.

Again, open your eyes, please.

Yes, I do.

I don't appreciate your post about call me to pipe down, say that I have no idea about I was talking or label me as nonsense.

I want you to debate about health care issue without harassing me like say to pipe down so that how I don't get any respect for you so where is your proper argument that you agree or disagree.

He did? His answer seems not clearly, just confused.

If so that's good thing.

I already presented you with my argument and you are closed to it.

Even you couldn't follow this thread on your own speaks volumes.

Where have I said I don't care? Pre-existing conditions shouldn't be a reason to cancel an insurance holder.

The health care bill is shoddy shit piece of a bill, hastily done with reams and reams of hidden porks, pay offs to special interest groups, and bribes to senators!!!!!!!!!!!!! All hastily done without proper review by all parties involved!! These things need to be looked at one section at a time and this was never, never done. They did the most irresponsible thing. I don't believe in govt control on health insurance. I certainly don't believe in giving govt control over 1/6 of our economy, either.

If they have huge problems with Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran care and so on, what makes you think that the govt can make this into a successful health care package?? They can't. Focus on the ones we have and improve it rather than stuff pork after pork inside a bill that has NOTHING to do with health care *INSURANCE*

Foxrac, tell me why that is confusing to poor you?

Insurance is like gambling. Both sides take a gamble based on risk. For those purchasing insurance they are banking that they'll will need it while the insurance based their risk banking that the person buying it won't need it as much. Insurance companies are there to make money by taking a financial risk on YOU by allowing you to buy their insurance.

Pre-existing conditions shouldn't be factor (that depends on what you have) but they do calculate them into their risk assessment. After all, they are a business. And so, sure, pre-existing conditions shouldn't be a factor at all but it'll cost more for everybody. No such thing as a freebie.

because I think that make law to ban on pre-existing condition or deny or cancellation of coverage are form of government control, it means health insurances has follow the law or could get penalty, that's reason because I was confused about kokonut's post.
