Declaration of Occupy Wall Street

Alice Paul and followers were called the steel jawed angels and that didn't stop them. I'm grateful that they did it instead of me.

And to think they had the nerve to picket the White House for the first time in history! What were they thinking?

Based on what I've read so far, I think women owe a great deal to Alice Paul.

And, the link he provided also says that police were in full riot gear, and therefore, not in danger of any physical injury. Their response was excessive, and their response to a critically injured citizen lying bleeding in the streets is simply disgusting.

That was why I pointed out I was IN A CAR when something was thrown at me. There was no way a tennis ball could have hurt me. It is still a felony.

Whether or not you agree with the law is irrelevant - it is STILL A FELONY.

Now, when throwing rocks at a police officer, that is completely different. The legal system doles out much harsher punishment for anyone who attacks a police officer, a teacher, a postal worker or any other government employee.

Your attempts to justify are just getting more comical.:laugh2:

Was the kid charged? Or did the cop go back to his car laughing about how silly you are?

Did she throw rocks at the president?

What about bananas?

Prove that a rock was thrown in Oakland. You found someone that said a couple of people threw bottles. There is no proof that anyone threw rocks.:laugh2: Where would they have gotten those rocks, Steinhauer? They were on a paved downtown street.

She was a criminal, Steiny! My God, she was demonstrating for a change in political policy! She was advocating for equal rights for women! My God...what a law breaker she was.

Did the guy lying in the hospital throw anything at the cops? Nope. And yet you think his critical injuries are justifiable.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the suffragettes chained themselves to a fence at the White House. Kinda hard to throw things when you're chained to a fence.

When was the last time you saw the President just strolling out on the lawn of the White House?

Bingo! They were just standing there at a demonstration, and were refusing to move. Kind of like Scott, huh?

OPD settled a class action suit for using these tactics a few years back. At that time, the dept agreed not to use these tactics on protestors. Apparently, they are slow learners.

April of 2001 when I shook his hand. His wife then took me on a tour of the White House. I was able to sit down at the desk that Abraham Lincoln wrote the Gettysburg Address on.

Looks like they are going to have to pay another settlement.

Did he have tons of security with him?

That lawsuit concerned the arrest of 150 people. Not dispersing an unlawful gathering.

Yeah..they just walked out and said, "Hey, Steiny! Come on in, pal!" Misrepresent much?
