when I was lot younger before deaf days and meet lad I no like, I would call myself malena stool,it was code to my mates he was a looser.
malena(greek means shining) stool obvious meaning..
worse pick up line when broke arm someone said I surppose that like sore throat er no it like busted arm(he was not picking me up but he thought it genious)like that never been said before
 
for auditory verbal kids (who were taught exclusively to depend on sound)

I used to say " I read both lips well"
Then you'd get a confused look ... I'd cracked up ... Eventually they would too
