Deaf Family on TV

the tv show was very heart touching! it made my friends and me cry! very overwhelemed and their family sure did deserve that house very much. and stefen *oldest son* he's the one that made this happen, he's very charming, sweet, and responsbile for that age! The parent're very charming, friendly. we"re all filled with joy and happiness for the varden's family! Hugs Hugs! :tears:

 s always watching you guys...

Wow! It was really good show...it did make my mom cried, I was like that's first time I have saw her crying about the show. The Vardon family are so friendly and I am very proud of them especially Stefen :)

Wow, it was damn good program. I was crying and happy for them. Especially for Lane's beautiful room with feeling and touch the objects. The parents can find where he goes. Lane tends to escape during the middle of night without any light flasher. The technology is so amazed nowadays !

I love that program !!! :D

Yea, those neat technology! I am happy for this family and I bawled my eyes out too. You see those smiles on their faces.. They deserve it!

I watched that show and i can't believe seeing 6,000 to 7,000 people raise thier hand in deaf way.. it's reallly touchy! they have alot alot of respect for the family even Lance too.. I want to record that show wahh wahh but i can try ask some friends if they did record or not..

I've watched many Extreme Makeover Home Edition and this show was the MOST touching show ever!! It touched my boyfriend and mine's heart.. We both had to hold our tears back and there was lumps in our throats throughout the whole show from holding ourselves back. My favorite touching part of the show was when Lance finally met his new swing set and the biggest smile ever on his face. The family truly deserved the makeover -- it made Ty Pennington shed a tear in the end. Heart-touching!

The amazing part is when MM got a hearing organization to donate $50,000 college scholarship to the Vardons' oldest son!

This show amazed me. I was very glad that I changed my mind and watch it.. My daughter and son watched it too. then I had to go with my husband to drive his friend home so I taped t he rest of the show. Then when we came back I automatically went to my tv and watch it.. I had tears coming out of my eyes and was all smiling when I saw what Lance did...

I have to agree with someone here that Lance was all smiling, laughing so cheerful when he found out his windchimes on his swing set (big one for him) I can't believe it. how much he was so happy and thrill. It made me feels soo good that they done a wonderful job for this family.. as for Stefan.. He deserves to have that scholarship for his choices of college. He has done enough.. this time his parents can do it on their own.. and I Have to agree with TY... It is time for Stefan to have a break! BUT OVERALL...... this is a very happy family I ever seen! and I am darn proud of them raising 2 wonderful boys!

Darn it. I LOVE stefan's bedroom. I had my mouth dropped.. I was like whoa! i want it! haha but it is his dream! they are soooo creative to this wonderful beautiful house :)

If you missed the show... (56K WARNING!)

You can go here for the before & after image gallery.

You can go here for the free access to watch past episodes (dunno about subtitles/captions).

When it will re-schedule for last night again? I want to see now! I miss last night becuase I went to the Church. That is why I tell you. I need to find when it will again this week? I been looking something.

They were one very deserving family especially with a son that leaves out at night and you can't hear. They were a very perfect family for this makeover. Somehow much better than Renovate My Family. I have a feeling that Lance will grow because of all those sensation "toys" he have for him to explore.

Yeah it was too picture perfect for many deafs and the hearing peoples.

They could have used a true deafie actress like Phyllis Frelich instead of the audist Marlee Matlin.

And as for Starkey's $50,000 is an insult to the deaf Starkey workers who had to endure inacessible working conditions at their plants especially the one in Anaheim, California in which our agency had to send their deaf employees to EEOC for investigations 2 years ago.

Yes it looks too picture perfect for my comfort and I'm glad a lot of deafies like it.

I watched it. I cried from the beginning to the end. I bawled hard in the ending part. What a good family and they deserve a good home. I'm proud of their hearing son who helped out so much.

Give it up, Dick. I do not like your negative outlook.
