Deaf Family on TV

neusmith it's comments like that that really shows a true turn off when it comes to a so called excutive who can not keep the lines drawn between a deaf activist to a relam of this comments to a poster like yours.

whlist some wishes it could have been made for others, i think the insults that you say they endured its really coming from YOU and ur personal experinces, therefore, like Deaf258 said give it up. the show's done and ur not going to post any more negtive crap!

From Vardon Family
(Extreme Makover) New Information.....

From Judy Vardon
Please forward!

Stefan and I went to Los Angeles and we were on the Family Television Awards Show! We got to walk on the red carpet at the show and we actually made a presentation (we talked and gave the award) to Constance and Page from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. It was just like you see on the Emmy Awards Show! We were like stars! We walked on the stage and gave the awards to the star. What an honor. If you want to watch us, the Family Television Awards show will be aired on December 9th at 9 pm. It is on
Cable the Warner Brothers Channel. You will have to check your TV guide to
see what station it is for your cable provider.

On Monday, December 13th, watch ET Insider. There will be 2 segments - one with Stefan and one with me. My interview was very short! This is on at 7 pm. Please check with your TV guide for listings. I think it's an ABC
Station. However in California is was a CBS station.

Stefan and Ty will be on the cover of TV Guide - December 23rd! Girls - you
better watch out because it will sold out immediately! !!!!!

Stefan will have an interview with Teen People. We will let you know when!

Got this from a friend...
ABC re-airing Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

In November, ABC aired a story about making an Oak Park, Michigan home safe
and communication-friendly for the deaf parents of a blind and autistic son
on back-to-back episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

If you missed that show, ABC plans to re-air it on January 2, 2005 at 7 p.m.
(CST). The episode features Starkey Hearing Foundation founder William F.
Austin and Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin welcoming the Vardon
family home and presenting a scholarship check.

I was crying so hard. When the gril took on the roll of Lance.. being blind.. OMG.. it just made me cry... that was really a dream come true for the Vardon family.
