Do you dislike it if you scratch, damage, tear or break some of your personal items?

iPhone iPod, HTC, Samsung stuff, laptops, camera, purse, etc, anything.

I take care of my things, no matter what it is. Hence, I've things for 20-30 years or more.

I scratch my phone quite often and I don't mind. It still works.

Be careful of stuffs that you want to put on E Bay. Damage them, that hurts the value.

i try be careful and yes i to have kept stuff going for 20 more years

Yes, but it very rarely happens.

I try to take care of my stuff, but it is just stuff, not life. I am not a big materialist.

do clothes count? ;) i have a couple of earrings that are over 20 yrs old. :) i still wear them!

I take good care of my laptop and my tv remote, I try to take care of it. make sure I dont kick it by accident, fall off from couch and not hittin the buttons all night.

I do not grieve if something gets broken, but I do love some of my stuff very much.
I have a lot of beautiful pieces (well, to me they are beautiful, lol) and I would be very sorry if they get damaged or lost. But I'd get over it.
I do take care, though, so they last as long as it is possible, hopefully forever lolololol

Material stuff is only a material stuff, no matter how gorgeous or expensive.

I accidently dropped my iPad 3 when I discard it from HoverBar for iPad - HoverBar for iPad - Twelve South and I forgot to unplug. It pulled iPad from my hand and dropped and hit metal tubar. It cracked the glass and bent on side.

I don't really like seeing this scattered glass - but the iPad still works. I can't decide wheither I should get it fixed or buy a new iPad 3... :(

Just get it fixed, it may be s money saver
My finacee's iPad have a lot of cracks on the screen but she will get it fixed when she have the time and money

I'd totaled my mom's old car long time ago. I nicked my dad's old Nissan Altima's paasanger mirror because the car was too close to the side of garage. The mirror was partly fell off. After learning about the outrageous repair/replacement cost, my dad ordered the specific model and went to a local auto shop to install the mirror. The price? $200.

I always dropped my sidekick and blackerry curve pagers many times. I had a blackberry replaced due to water damage. I dropped my iphone 4 a few, few times and it still runs fine. It has a hard case preventing it from further damage.

I dunno. Wait and see how much will it cost. I ain't paying if the damage is cost more than iPad itself. I'm working on getting iPhone 5 soon and I dunno...

I have ATV's and dirtbikes. It would be a shame to keep them looking like garage queens.

As for electronics. and care of my home and furnishings, nothing irritates me more than having broken and/or worn stuff.

The one good thing that came of crashing my motorcycle was that I was able to buy a different model as a replacement, one that suited commuting better.

I really don't like breaking my other stuff, though. :giggle: At the same time, I don't like have really nice but delicate stuff as I'm afraid to use it for fear of damaging it.

It's all depending on monetary or sentimental value, if something break, I'll be thrilled to get a newer and better one!! That is my excuses... but there are other things that I felt sentimental and being very careful with it. If I scratch it, I'll be upset.

From Antique Roadshow:

This table is Early American. At the last time a table such as this was auctioned it sold for $100,000, however that table did not have all the scratches and water stains and replaces feet as your does. Yours is worth $20,000.
