Tore the overhangs off and built the sides out flush with the wall, tore off some old oak barn wood and installed new fur strips, ready for the sheetmetal and smartsides....

3 grills and a smoker, smoker is between first 2 grills and another grill further down in the pic... 1st grill and smoker is charcoal, the other 2 grills are gas (hate the gas ones)
The shed has a hookup for a wood burner, has wiring to it but needs redone to get electric out there again as I cut all the old knob and tube wiring running to it.... in the future I plan to have a pitched roof with attic space installed, but that will be sometimes when I get rich again...lol

Another use for the money if you get rich — bid on the cave house in Festus. Have you seen it? It has been on St. Louis TV several times. Not sure when the bidding end.

You could open up a small BQ shank and make $$$ that way.

Only 75 today so....
I busted some hump.....
Getting there, looking like a real roof.

and by the way, my face, back and arms are Red'r than Red, people would swear Im sunburnt, but it does not hurt, and will tan out in about a week. I can go on an all day float trip and look like an over ripe tomatoe, never hurt, peeled ...guess its the Indian in my blood that saves me from the agony of being sunburnt?

Its funny, I can sit in the sun all day and glow like a ripe tomatoe and it never hurts, peels or blisters.... my wife and kids are enjoying poking me and making white dots or patterns on my back

Still have the small overhang and sides to do....Thinking about using standard siding? Havent decided yet, but may use the corrgated metal for the overhang as well, since I will need the metal ridge cap...just use siding on the sides at most?

Will the building inspector be going back to check out your shed ? When I had work done on my condo the work was inspected by the building inspector.

No, theres no permits required, but he will check ( just drives by) to see that Im making progress on it. I got til september to complete it. Might be able to finish it up in August?
The shed is really not the issue, its just retaliation from the landlord. he didnt like that it was just standing in disrepair and he wanted to counter and justify his stupid idea to errect a fence. But thats cool, now the shed is getting done, my wife can get her stuff out of storage and store it here... its a win/win ( save storage fees and makes practical use ) although it was in the works, I didnt plan to complete it yet, just the situation of the momment was forced upon us. I hope some drunk comes flying down that alley and takes out that new fence when he is done, Just so Karma can say it bit him in the derrearie....lmao Act a fool and be shown the outcome.

Yeah, Ive been watching him come and go, digging in the same damn spot for a week and cant find his property stake... He claims half the road is his... OMG he is out there...lol
Anyways, The inspector is keeping him in check. This is what the landlord has done with marking his property lines.... anyone see whats wrong here?

They don't appear to be lined up so it will be interesting when he puts the fence on them.

Well, here is the bubble burster.... The road/property easements belong to the city regardless. Now since he is not grandfathered in, His fence has to be at least 2 feet away from any road surface, any new building structures (sheds, parking pads..ect..) has to be 5 feet from any property lines and 6 feet away from any stuctures.... if you noticed, my shed is about a foot from the road as the road was installed years later and can never be changed. If I was to tear the shed down, I cannot replace another there in the same spot as it will have to comply to the new rules/regulations ( I was going to tear the shed off the pad and have a new prefabed shed placed there...nope. So the old shed will stay, for now.
BUT, the landlord thinks he can install a fence right at the road... hahaha, cant wait to see what happens as I already know his property is not squared, its kinda geometric outta whack of a rectangle, although he is a contractor, he best get a land survey...

I am going to go see about a land survey for my property as I own a bit more past my shed and need to know before I go putting up my privacy fence....

Another funny is, lady next door had the dead tree cut down and now the renters are parking on her parking pad ( she already told them that sh better not catch them parking there again before) well now they are back at it as well....its reallly an interesting bunch there.
