I am sorry that you had to suffer back then. That was when the school was in it's TC/Oral (??) period. (This is news to me, btw.)
At least now they know the right way to educate the deaf children. This is a big step forward in educating the deaf.
How is that news? ALL schools for the Deaf were offically oral until about the mid 60's. Heck, even Rochester School for the Deaf, Lexington, and St. Rita's were oral until the early 80's believe it or not.
