Court of public opinion looms large in George Zimmerman murder trial

In bold, it isn't fact in this case.

Martin's strange behavior could be gangster behavior, look no normal to Zimmerman.

Bao said "maybe" - keyword. It can be true or not.

1) It is a fact that GZ CLAIMED that Trayvon was acting strange. That is 100% fact

2) This statement....

Dr Bao said he thinks pot might have affected Trayvon's behavior

Is a fact. Dr Bao DID IN FACT make this statement today.

If you want things to make sense, you have to pay attention and read all of the words.

You got yourself confused with my post.

I already know about Martin and Zimmerman's cases so you are wasting your time to restatement and hollering with all "fact".

I gotta go now so I can watch a movie. I think Jess is looking for me, GDI. Good night to you all.

1) You are incorrect. It has been GZs contention since day one that he followed Trayvon because he was acting strange or "suspicious." That has always been GZs claim

2) I watched Dr Bao say it live...

With the jury out of the room, Bao also said he now believes the small amount of marijuana in Trayvon's system may have affected his behavior

No, Iunderstood your post. That is why I clarified it for you. :)

If that WAS Zimmerman screaming on the 911 call I would think he would had yet on screaming for help after he killed TM . GZ claims he had his head smashed into the sidewalk repeatedly and IF this WAS true he would had been in great pain and bleeding profusely and needed medical attention immediately. The screaming stopped once TM was dead so it WAS his voice being heard on the 911 call and NOT GZ.

Why? The threat to his life was over. Why would he need to scream? By then, other people did show up, so he could ask for help without screaming.

GZ claims he had his head smashed into the sidewalk repeatedly and IF this WAS true he would had been in great pain and bleeding profusely and needed medical attention immediately.
He was probably pumped full of adrenalin at that time, and not focused on pain.

The screaming stopped once TM was dead so it WAS his voice being heard on the 911 call and NOT GZ.
Nothing can be proven with a negative. That is, the lack of screaming can't prove who had done the screaming earlier. The lack of proof (any kind) can't be used as proof. It can be used in closing arguments and speculation but it isn't proof (or evidence).

The screams are irrelevant. 2 witnesses SAW Trayvon on top of Zimmerman. Plus, it is possible that if it were Trayvon's voice, that he was screaming while on top of GZ due to drug induced paranoia. :dunno: We have no way of knowing.

it's a shame that Zimmerman's blood wasn't taken to see the amount of medication in his bloodstream that is known for side effects such as paranoia, fear, aggression, and irritation.

Like-wise and the same for Trayvon....smoking pot laced with THC?....and most likely a heavy amount...as he was an avid weed smoker.....videoed at the store "swaying back and forth"....

HARPER: Sharpton crosses the line — again — in Zimmerman case

The Rev. Al Sharpton, host of MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation,” remains one of the most divisive forces in U.S. race relations, a reputation he is only enhancing with his current role in the murder trial of George Zimmerman.

Mr. Sharpton has become a virtual publicist for the family of Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who died in 2012 in Sanford, Fla. Mr. Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain, is charged with second-degree murder after Mr. Sharpton and others called for his arrest. Mr. Zimmerman has claimed self-defense.

Simply put, Mr. Sharpton’s role with Trayvon’s family violates the standards and practices code of NBC News, which prohibits involvement in politics. Others have been suspended for such actions, but an MSNBC representative stated the reverend has been given a rare exemption because of his previous activism. (Full disclosure: As noted here last week, I am an expert witness in a lawsuit by Mr. Zimmerman against NBC and MSNBC.)

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Sharpton, 58, has his detractors — myself included — who recall his many racially divisive campaigns, particularly one in upstate New York and another in New York City before moving yet again to divide the nation.

In 1987, Mr. Sharpton created a media frenzy in the case of Tawana Brawley — a black teenager who claimed she was raped by a group of white men, including police officers. A grand jury found Ms. Brawley had lied about the incident in Wappinger Falls, N.Y., and the case was dropped. But Mr. Sharpton’s false allegations left some badly tarnished reputations throughout the area about 90 miles north of New York City.

In 1991, Mr. Sharpton was at it again, exacerbating tensions between blacks and Orthodox Jews in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. A three-day riot, fueled by Mr. Sharpton’s statements, erupted when a Guyanese boy died after being struck by a car driven by a Jewish man. At the boy’s funeral, Mr. Sharpton complained about “diamond cutters” in the neighborhood in what a Brandeis University historian described as the most anti-Semitic incident in U.S. history. Two men died and three were critically injured before order was restored.

The reverend has failed in political campaigns for the New York state legislature, the mayor of New York, the U.S. Senate and even president of the United States. Yet somehow he stays on the A-list of celebrity guests, attending last weekend’s wedding of film mogul George Lucas and conducting an interview with President Obama before the president left for Africa.

In Mr. Zimmerman’s case, Mr. Sharpton has stood beside Trayvon’s family and has used his MSNBC program to promote his views that the defendant is guilty.

“Trayvon Martin committed no crime,” he said shortly after the incident. “He had no weapon, and he had every legal right to be where he was. The rush to judgment was those that moved against him, said he was suspicious and took his life.”

After listening to nearly two weeks of testimony in the trial, I can say the only “rush to judgment” occurred when it came to the actual evidence against Mr. Zimmerman. The prosecution’s case repeatedly has bolstered the defense’s arguments of innocence rather than proving guilt.

Mr. Sharpton joined other apologists for Rachel Jeantel, Trayvon’s friend who was talking with him on a cellphone during the incident and testified for two days at the trial last week.

“To castigate her, to characterize her, to stereotype her and use all kind of attacks, I think, is something that does an injustice to the criminal justice system,” he said on his television program.

Yet Mr. Sharpton failed to address a variety of problems Ms. Jeantel had during her testimony: using slang some court observers couldn’t understand or found offensive, indicating displeasure bordering on disrespect for one of the defense attorneys, and changing her story.

But that’s what Mr. Sharpton has done for years. He divides in his attempt to conquer. It’s time people stop listening.

Zimmerman Prosecutor Angela Corey Criminally Indicted

By Citizens' Grand Jury For Allegedly Falsifying Arrest Warrant And Complaint

OCALA, Fla., July 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida State's Attorney Angela Corey has been indicted by a citizens' grand jury, convening in Ocala, Florida, over the alleged falsification of the arrest warrant and complaint that lead to George Zimmerman being charged with the second degree murder of African-American teenager Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida.

The indictment of Corey, which was handed down last week (see Citizens Grand Jury), charges Corey with intentionally withholding photographic evidence of the injuries to George Zimmerman's head in the warrant she allegedly rushed to issue under oath, in an effort to boost her reelection prospects. At the outset of this case, black activists such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, who whipped up wrath against Zimmerman, demanded that he be charged with murder, after local police had thus far declined to arrest him pending investigation.

Following Corey's criminal complaint charging Zimmerman, legal experts such as Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz condemned her for falsely signing an arrest affidavit under oath, which intentionally omitted exculpatory evidence consisting of the photographs showing the injuries Zimmerman sustained, and rushing to charge him with second degree murder under political pressure. Dershowitz called her actions unethical and themselves crimes (Drop George Zimmerman).

Larry Klayman, a former U.S. Justice Department prosecutor, a Florida lawyer since 1977, and now the "citizens' prosecutor" who presided over the Ocala grand jury said this: "The Supreme Court has confirmed that the grand jury belongs to the American people, not the three branches of government. (504 U.S. 36, 48 (1992) (quoting United States v. R. Enterprises, Inc., 498 U.S. 292, 297 (1991)).

By indicting Florida State Attorney Angela Corey, the people are exercising their God given rights, recognized by our Founding Fathers, to mete out justice when the political and legal establishment subverts the rule of law. Hopefully, this indictment will serve as a warning to the political and legal establishment that they are not above the law. Ironically, Corey will now be tried and likely convicted for her alleged crimes – which resulted in Zimmerman being charged under false pretenses, now coming home to roost during Zimmerman's on-going trial. Corruption cannot be tolerated, particularly by law enforcement officers who are elected by the people to serve their ends, not the law enforcement officer's political ends."

Sharpton... shut up and sit down. and go away.

Newspapers or magazines can tell lies just to make money and to get good stories to make every reader get interest in what the articles said. So if Mr. Sharpton had been wrong, I do hope Mr. Harper is telling truth. You can not rely on the newspaper or magazine to be truthful. You just have to go to the court to hear for yourself to get the evidence that what the court is saying is true. Everybody lied and want to cover up their own track. :(

Angela Corey - Toughest Prosecutor Ever.

Bad check - life in prison
