PowerOn, you realize that TTU will play OU in two weeks and also Florida will play Alabama in SEC championship game so therefore those two winners will automatically enter in the BCS Championship Game. It's most likely a scenario.

So that would leave Texas out, unlikely... blame that to the BcS system! :dunno2:

*sigh* Texas is still in BCS but not in Championship Game, that's important. Because it's still great game to get in. Only 10 teams to get in BCS bowl. Texas is lock in after beat Texas A&M, that's it. No worry. If OU beat TTU, then we probably would have to flip to see which OU, TTU or UT will get in Big 12 South title to fact North.

Only thing, I find annoying that there isn't No. 3 vs No. 4 but other ranking. How ridiculous! I would like to see Florida vs Texas BCS bowl as if Season end now.
 
You also have to consider that Big East winner and ACC winner gets an automatic BCS bid. Unfortunately this creates for more problems for everybody else. If Boise St. and Utah manage to win out, what do ya do? At least BCS has opened to 10 teams from previous 8 or else even more speculation could be made from all this.

What happens if the unthinkable happens and Mizzouri somehow wins the Big 12 Title game? If its Texas Tech playing Mizzouri then Mizzouri get into BCS automatically and another team in Big 12 misses out who are likely more formitable opponents 9-10 times?

What does Ball St deserve if they win out?

Although the Big East and the ACC has had their glories in past seasons, does America college football fans really want to see an at best 2 loss team make it to a BCS game? Also if Penn State somehow loses another game there will be yet another team guaranteed into the BCS who has 2 losses. (Michigan State and Ohio State 9-2)

This is way better, well at least more debateable at least than NFL! Even if we don't agree, we can agree on disagreement and continue our arguments regarding every fathomable outcome. Although a frustrating debate at times, especially when campaining for our favorite Schools, we can be sure to satisfy our minds about fun discussion all week long.
 
I find interest about Big 12 South if OU beat TTU.

In two weeks, Oklahoma hosts Texas Tech in the latest Big 12 game with huge national title implications.

If the Sooners win, they'll create a three-way tie for first in the Big 12 South. If the Sooners, Longhorns and Red Raiders finish deadlocked, the tiebreaker to determine who plays in the Big 12 championship game in Kansas City on Dec. 6 is best BCS average.

PowerOn and Doug,

I was thinking late yesterday after posting and realized that there is indeed a distant possibility way for Texas to have support by Mizzou beating a Big 12 South champion (either TTU or OU) then they do have a chance, I think. (like what Doug explained) It's the most difficult part (big 3).

It's rather unfortunate that those big 3 (Tx, TT, and OU) all are in the Big 12 South division so only one winner has to come out at the end. But otherwise, it help one at the top so therefore their winner will automatically enter the BCSCG mainly due to their schedule strength.

I personally prefer Texas and Florida and may dread of TTU cuz of their monster offensive front (lol) but certain not their defense. I don't know much of OU themselves yet but am sure they're as terrific, too. Will watch TTU-OU game once more to grasp what they are like.

Doug, I think Utah will be counted inside the BCS 8 likely.

Last night Miami Fla beat Virginia Tech 16-14! Whooo!

Now the Hurricanes are in first place in the ACC Coastal division with two more games to go! :D

#4 Florida outwhipped #24 South Carolina 56 - 6!! :D

SC's defense is ranked #3 in the nation yet Florida stampeded over them! lol

Citadel, FSU, and Alabama are :Ohno::Ohno::Ohno: of Florida as their next victims to come!! :lol:

Let's see if Alabama could overcome Mississippi State tonight... they lost to them twice in row last time. Good luck!

Couldn't hardly wait to see TTU and OU next Saturday!

I see there is no change on BCS on top 9.

But irony to see that Utah score into 4th on computer better than Florida. Ooo.... That's much different than last week. I'm looking forward on Utah vs BYU to make final decide on Mountain West!

Yeah, right no change yet but not surprised here about the current BCS standing... but I do find it crappin about Utah over Florida in the cpu ranking, too. :roll: :lol:

Utah-BYU and TTU-OU games are very big this weekend so I wanna watch them both and slip Florida-Citadel game (but no tv for that game). Good luck!
 
I hope TT would lose against Oklahoma on this Sat so PSU can move up a bit better ranking for BCS game or still stuck with Rose Bowl against USC or Oregon St
 
It should be blast watching Texas Tech playing Oklahoma tonight at 8:00 pm (think it's ESPN).

I think Oklahoma wins though I would like Texas Tech to win... it should be a very tight game high likely. I will watch it at a friend's place; going out of town today for the weekend.

ps. Florida gonna have an easy cakewalk today against Citadel at our home field (last home game) today. No live tv for this game but will have a game rerun on tv tmw morning so I set up and tape it ready.
