Who?
There is no law requiring standing respectfully for the national anthem.I did not know we are required to stand for the national anthem. Seems weird for people living in the "land of the free" to critize someone who chooses to exercise his freedom to not stand for the anthem.
The problem comes when people don't understand our freedoms. There is no law requiring standing respectfully for the national anthem.
Not weird at all. In the land of the free, we are allowed to exercise our First Amendment right of free speech as much as he exercises his freedom of expression.
What? Until very recently, the military has also had a very poor track record on treatment of African American personnel.Yup, he has the right do disrespect those men and women who have given their lives defending this country.....
Those men and women fought for this country so we could keep our rights of free speech.
I know , I can understand were Colin Kaepernick is coming from and where other people are coming from . This is a very sensitive topic .Unfortunately, he does have the right to express the first amendment, freedom of speech. Just like Reba mentioned there's no law requiring anyone to stand up during the National anthem.

That doesn't make him white. He doesn't agree with country is doing for his people. Weird part , he's adopted by a white couple.
People have their reasons for feeling the way they do. I really can't judge him , I have no idea what he been through. He doesn't agree with country is doing for his people. Weird part , he's adopted by a white couple.
