I have been working with the CODA interps. Until recently I worked with the same one for years. I noticed that coda interps TEND to behave and think like alcoholic's. They would "recover" once they admit they do have a problem (not alcoholic but maybe co-dependent) and they start caring that deaf get communication needs met professionally. They usually DON"T admit until ... many years in interp field.

Yes the CODA's are the wonderful signers but they would be even much better if they take their interp jobs seriously, not just easy money.

I wish CODA's don't brag much.
