What is your definition of "legit?"now 4 of us have bought from them and we got what we want so it's legit... in a questionable way
What is your definition of "legit?"
When you use the word "legit" do you mean they are genuine products legally acquired from Microsoft?the CD key is legit. the software is legit. but their way of business is.... questionable.

I'm trying to understand your meaning of "legit." It's important to me.
it's because they buy licenses in bulk and they do not sell CDs. That's how they save their overhead cost.
Not exactly but OK.yes. that's what I believe as said in my post 70.
I understand the concept of bulk licenses. The college where I work uses those. However, they are only allowed to to download the software into campus computers. They aren't allowed to resell the keys to people outside of the campus. It is legal only for computers that belong to the college.Microsoft does business like this usually for corporations and schools at bulk discount. It's very cost-effective because at corporation, the IT guy only need a couple of CDs and they can automatically install hundreds of computers at same time but the license (cd key) is only valid for one computer. So imagine buying hundreds of CDs from store for hundreds of computers. It's just not cost effective.
One CD. Bulk Licenses.
TrustpayJSC - I did this same kind of transaction thru my college IT department. My school does not sell the actual CDs but cd-key and a link to download the Microsoft Windows which is already paid for via computer fee.
I heard from my friend that he tried to pirate Windows 7 and it was no joy. Microsoft got very clever with Windows 7 and its piracy protection is pretty robust. It permanently damaged my friend's HDD.
update - I got my CD key and download link. HALLELUJAH!!
I'm a little leery of this site because it has lots of typos/spelling errors on its website, and there is no "About Us" page at their site. Most businesses include information about themselves on their sites, such as when they were established, and who they are.
How long have you guys been shopping at Trustpay?
@ JSC Trustpay customers: Are you sure your Windows 7 is genuine, not illegal copy or pirated version? I don't trust that website or oddly email. Cheaper products are often used as baits. Also, I'm not sure about that store have solidly authority from Microsoft to sell Windows 7 versions in lower prices.
oh I didn't ask where they're located in but I WHOIS'ed them and I fished around. Seems like they are located in Vietnam???
I know. I still have that same feeling. Not exactly but OK.
since their CD keys are valid and their download link are from Microsoft, looks like they have license agreement with Microsoft. Microsoft hands out CD keys like addictive candies.I understand the concept of bulk licenses. The college where I work uses those. However, they are only allowed to to download the software into campus computers. They aren't allowed to resell the keys to people outside of the campus. How does that apply to Trustpay?
update - I got my CD key and download link. HALLELUJAH!!
He told me to try Internet download manager (IDM)before burning the iso files into DVDs. It is an excellent program. Right, Royale?
CD key? What?
No I did not use IDM. I used Firefox D/L manager to download it and it was pretty fast for me.
